I'm starting the first episode now... Wow, 3 minutes of narrating and I still don't even have a vague idea of what the story is about other than the fragments of it tossed around the internet.

Edit: I lol'd when it went to a blue screen when she was changing clothes. I bet some people got pissed.

Wild shot in the dark says Lucky Star.
I can't tell if you're being serious. Either way, that's a no. Are there dragons in Lucky Star? IDK, I've never seen it.

COMPLETELY sarcastic. Slice of life compared to DBKai/DBZ.

I love Negima! as a manga. The anime (at least the first one, which is the one I've seen) was disappointing. Yes it was good and entertaining when treated as its own entity. But compared to the manga it's very lacking. Negima! the manga is really amazing. And the further in you get, the more story-oriented the story becomes. But it never loses that charming ecchi humor aspect that made me love the series in the first place. (Because ecchi can be funny, as Ken Akamatsu has shown us all.)

Gunslinger Girl: Il Teatrino might just be my favorite anime. It's extremely underrated and people often start off biased against it because they don't like the change in the animation style, which is by no means "bad" but just not quite as good as before. But I honestly preferred Il Teatrino to the original. I looked past the change in animation and found that there was more thorough character development (albeit with a slight change in who to focus on) and the sub-plot rivalry between Triela and Pinnochio was really interesting to watch. Not to mention this serious had me in tears even more than the last one, which is always a sign that I love it.

Woah.

One Piece is my all time favourite manga, even though I love loads of others(Shaman King, xxxHolic in particular).

Kino no Tabi/Kino's Journey has got to be my favourite anime, though, followed closely by Gunslinger Girl and Lucky Star. I also love Soul Eater, Yami to Boushi to hon no Tabibito, Maria sama ga Miteru and some more I can't recall at this very moment.

... Oh right, Elfen Lied.

Finally some Berserk love! I enter every one of these topics to remind people that Guts exists and he kicks some serious ass. Berserk.
Same here.

[sub]I love this little guy.[/sub]

Berserk is so fucking good I could talk about it endlessly. Too bad the Fantasia Arc took the series in a direction I didn't really like. As well as screwing up Farnese's character; what the hell was Miura thinking?

As for favourite anime: Neon Genesis Evangelion. I know most people dispise this show, but I just can't help loving it to death.

Bleach is one of my most favorite Japanese anime/manga show. It has brilliant skeleton of out of queue storyline from starting episodes to yet. I've also read entire manga storyline. All bleach episodes [http://bleach.download-tvshows.com/] and it's manga spoiler contain awesome action, adventure, fight, sci-fi thriller and drama stuffs, and that's all followed by dreadful/fight-full scary looking anime/manga character. Ichigo is my most favorite character in it. It's out of queue storyline start with through lights on him and made very bewitch impact on me. I totally hooked with this anime till then and never missed it's any episode and manga chapter. That's why i always would like to pick bleach as my most favorite anime/manga show ever.

A Hermit's Cave
Manga: Fullmetal Alchemist (second anime was better, but manga even was better than that), Tsubasa Chronicles (anime was so disappointing), Fruits Basket (again, not a big fan of the anime), Emma (haven't watched the anime, but being English, I don't think I'll want to), Lucky Star (better because the anime doesn't have Kou)

Anime: Tokyo Magnitude 8.0, Seirei no Moribito (some of the best animated fight scenes in a complex story), Sky Crawlers (awesome movie), RahXephon, Haibane Renmei (saw it mentioned and remembered how brilliant it was), Ergo Proxy

Both: Gunslinger Girl (first anime was a bit too glossy for my liking, still good though), Aria/Aqua (manga wins for higher fuzzy factor), Nodame Cantabile (manga tells the story better, but for a series based on music, gotta have the audio aspect, love the choice of pieces)

Honourable mentions: Tamayura (anime is due for release, but the OVA was typical of Junichi Sato's direction), Cowboy Bebop (oddly enough, liked the film more than the series), Azumanga Daioh

Sure there are others, but I'm sure I'll remember (and probably re-watch/re-read) shortly.

Neon Genesis Evangelion- THE greatest mecha anime ever (But Gurren Laggan is awesome, too). You never see many animes with so much complexity as this one does.

Death Note- The main reason why I'm such a huge anime fan.

K-ON!- I enjoy the music, it's irresistibly cute and charmingly funny, and I find it impossible for me to hate any of the characters. Sure, it has basically no plot (Or at least not a deep one.), but that doesn't change the fact that I still found it enjoyable enough to make a fan club [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/groups/view/K-ON-Club].

Bakemonogatari- Love the surreal imagery and art style, the characters, and basically everything about this anime. It's very dialogue heavy, but I enjoyed the dialogue very much.

Puella Magi Madoka Magica- Best anime I've seen in recent years, and is definately not what it seems at first.

As for manga, well, I haven't read much, but I did enjoy Death Note, Elfen Lied, and Uzumaki.
