Susumu Hirasawa makes absolutely wonderful music, and seems to always lend his talents to Satoshi Kon's works. At this point, I don't think his movies would be the same without that wonderful music.

I think they generally go by the latest, most updated version, so it'd be 1.11 for the first movie. Just to play it safe, though, you could always go with '1.XX' or '2.XX'. That's what I've been doing lately.

I love almost anything by Yoko Kanno. This is one of my favourites from the Escaflowne soundtrack:
