Pretty underrated in my opinion, but it is definitely one of my favourite movies.
Much better than most "A" - movies these days...
I always considered this to be a A movie to be honest its well paced well written interesting characters good lighting dialog and interesting and coeherant twists.

The Last Samurai. For me it's more an A than B, but I get it it's not that good. And having Tom Cruise doesn't help at all.
I thought he did a great job in that movie it was very interesting and well paced I loved all the tones too

Yeah he was great.
But the image the actor gives, maybe because of Mission Impossible, is that he does dull action movies without anything deep.
I suppose but I find actors play very little part in whether a movie is good or not I find the director and writers often determine that.

There's only really one choice for me. Bubba Ho-Tep. It's a B-Movie, but it's genuinely good rather than "so bad it's good" unlike my other current favourite - Sharktopus. The movie sucks so bad, but it acknowledges that fact in several places and then delivers crazy kill scenes from the titular creature, which I might add is comedy gold.

There are alot of answers, but really it has to be the ones that MST3K had the most fun with. Like...SPACE MUTINY!

Daggnabbit!!!! You beat me to it.
I'm going to have to go with Evil Dead Trilogy. No chin can take a stage punch like Bruce Campbell's can.

Thats for those that keep putting Hollywood budget movies up here.

Last Samurai is NOT a B movie. The cost to hire Tom Cruise alone would keep all known B movie producers in films for at least 10 years.

They are cheap, nasty, sometimes so bad they are good, filmed by your little sister on her water drenched i-phone .. bad.

That being said ..... Boa V's Python.

Mainly because the concept was so bad it made no sense at all .... and cheesy acting tough guy being eaten by a giant hosepipe is always amusing.

Lets see, so many good B-movies:

The Deadly Spawn
Killer Klowns from Outer Space
Burial Ground: Nights of Terror
Demons
Night of the Demons
Night of the Creeps

And that's only naming a few.

I'm going to go with either Doomsday or Planet Terror.

I can watch either numerous times.

I'm Gonna Git You Sucka is an awesome movie, no doubt.
Ooh, that's a good one.

While I do like Plan 9, and Attack of the Killer Tomatoes is always good, I'd have to say Peter Jackson's seminal work, Bad Taste.

Oooh, lucky me, I got a chunky bit.

the most epic of B-movies: the Princess Bride.
Princess Bride is a B++ movie. Like Flash Gordon. They're just A's that hung round the bike sheds.

Zebraman, Blood Dolls and Frankenhooker, I think. I watch a lot of B-movies and these I remembered most. There's also Killer Klowns from Outer Space and er....Jesus Christ: Vampire Hunter. Only because it was so bad, it's awesome.

Does Galaxy Quest count? Because I've just watched that today and it is hilarious.
Is that really a B-movie? Thought it was just a pisstake movie... *shrug*

Hmmm. Lake Placid. I love that movie (he seemed taller....). And it used to piss me off that people didn't seem to realise it was a cheesy B piss take rather than anything else.
Really? I considered it a very tongue-in-cheek pseudo-monster thriller. Still, is it really a B-movie, 'cos it had rather good production values.

OT: I'm much disappoint that no-one has mentioned the most epic of B-movies: the Princess Bride.

...

What? Piss off, you enjoyed it too!
Princess Bride is definitely one of my favourite movies, but I don't know if it really counts as a B.

As for my favourite B movie, that would be Army of Darkness. Bruce Campbell makes anything into awesome camp... My name is Bruce is great too, Bruce Campbell as himself as a successful B movie actor.
