Type O Negative cause they are like listening to all my favorite genres in one. Usualy in one song. And they rock as much live as they do in studio.

edit: was wondering why someone would post yet another one of these... Welcome to the escapist!

Favorite band has to be trivium. One of the heaviest bands out there, with very... interesting lyrics. I really dont know too much why, just lovem.

My favorite band is Iron Maiden because Bruce Dickinson can sing such a broad spectrum of pitch I've ever heard since I heard Robert Plant, Steve Harris is one of the best Metal bassists I've ever heard, and Dave Murray is a kick ass guitarist.

Welcome to the Escapist! I hope you enjoy your stay. Please ignore the body under the stairs and go easy on Doug, the troll outside, he just got back from his holiday in the Congo.

Probably the Search Engine genre. Primarily the band "Overdone Thread Topic."

But you know, that's just me.

Dresden Dolls or Humanwine. Not sure why I like them, but I do.
Amanda Palmer now that she has gone solo from the Dresden Dolls (not much of a step). Every song seems better than the last.

Wait, she did? I never really kept up with their music; just occasionally looked for new albums and never saw any. Now I'll look into her songs. About how many albums has she done?

Flogging molly - upbeat celtic music from some very gifted song writers. It is impossible to not be in a good mood while listening.

Because of Tim's awesome vocals coupled with the best lyrics in the business. Heavy riffs combined with catchy melody. The ability of the band to create different styles of songs, like the contrast between Swing Life Away and State of the Union.

Kings of Leon- their singing is unique and their guitar and bass are funky.
White Stripes- They speak to the minimalist in me.
Fallout Boy- idk why. They are just easy to listen to.
Seether- Remind me of Nirvana.
Gorillaz- a good British band with a mysterious air about them.
The Doors- I love older stuff, but find it to not have the edge I like. The Doors, however, do have edge.
EDIT: Also, I like the Sick Puppies songs "Street Fighter (war)" and "You're going down" They just pump me up for some reason.
