Yeah I remember that, did you see the lengths they went to? There was even a album cover mock-up.

In fact, let's just go out and say it, everything since pinkerton.

Muse - The Resistance

I liked it when it wasn't embarrassing to be a Muse fan.
Agreed. I like all of their other albums. But The Resistance is just so boring.

I didnt know it was embarassing to be a fan. I must have missed that memo.
See, the trouble is that they're now putting out crap like Undisclosed Desires. Paired with their newfound association with the Twilight franchise, it feels like they're catering to teenage girls. I was proud to be a Muse fan when they were, y'know, a ROCK BAND.
I got ninja'd. Hard. And I like Undisclosed Desires, but Guiding Light and I Belong to You were awful.

Yeah I heard about those. Don't worry, apparently it's some amateur school band who tried to make it big by pretending to be Metallica. You can tell by the recording quality, just listen to those drums!

Anything by the Electric Light Orchestra. Why did Q magazine list them as the most uncool bad ever?

But I like Metallica (A lot, but still not favorite), so I have to mention that whenever I hear about St.Anger, I think "What's that? There's no such thing. I would know."
When did this album release I have heard nothing of it.
This album?

Ditto, however, I'm a little snobbish about them.

Anyway, yes St. Anger, as previously mentioned, but I'm more of a fan of Metallica's first few albums and not really been happy since ...Justice.

Blur's The Great Escape is a bit grating to me, tho.
As is anything U2's put out in the past 10 years. (Don't judge me.)

Finally, after years of waiting, the new Knife album is just...awful.

Otherwise, most of the artists I listen to have either been split up for ages, too new or never (or have yet to) put out anything tragic enough for me to recall atm.

I've been a Chris Cornell / Soundgarden / Audioslave fan for as lons as I can remember. There's nothing I should be ashamed of, of course. Especially not this parody of Cornell's work, "Scream", they called it. As if C.C. would go and record songs with Timbaland. Hehehe... C'm'on...

The guy in the videos does look a lot like Cornell, though. But then again, plastic surgeons do wonder, these days, look:

Can't be the same guy who did this:

Naaaahhh...

Chuck was the magnum opus of Sum 41, a brilliant album in which their former poppy, but lovable music gave way to something a bit heavier, which drew on influences from real things which the band and the world has faced, both lyrically and musically. I so glad they didn't release a stupid, generic album 3 years later which deserves to be destroyed by being shot directly into the sun.
And what's up with Metallica? C'mon guys! It's been 20 years since your last album!

Weird that... I kept having this recurring dream around the same time and that exact same thing happened!

Death Magnetic eh? Man it was a long time coming.

You want to know something scary? I actually know people who liked it! Which is weird, how do you like something which doesn't exist?

Aside from the tracks Not Now John and When The Tigers Broke Free (Which was originally supposed to be on The Wall so doesn't count) The Final Cut is the furthest from Pink Floyd that Pink Floyd has ever sounded.

But it's OK, I just pretend it was a Roger Waters solo album (which, it kinda was).

Gotta go with "Minutes to Midnight" by Linkin Park

That album made me want to shoot myself.
Was it worse then Re-Animation?
Waaaaaaaaaaaaay worse.
I think it was just my taste in music then and now... Now I don't expect to like Minutes to Midnight, but back then I loved the nu-metal vibe from them, which re-animation kinda lacked whilst copypasting from their first album.

I actually like St. Anger. In fact, I'd say Metallica have never released a bad album, only a slightly boring after the third track one (ReLoad).

However I'm glad Lostprohets took until recently to follow up Start Something. That was a good decision.
