The. Goddamn. Spaghetti. Incident.

There isn't even one okay song on the album, let alone any good, great, or excellent ones.

Pablo Honey?

No, man, Radiohead was always at the top of its game. Their debut The Bends is a masterpiece.

Also, it's too bad the Diablo Swing Orchestra never recorded anything after The Butcher's Ballroom.

I've been a Chris Cornell / Soundgarden / Audioslave fan for as lons as I can remember. There's nothing I should be ashamed of, of course. Especially not this parody of Cornell's work, "Scream", they called it. As if C.C. would go and record songs with Timbaland. Hehehe... C'm'on...

The guy in the videos does look a lot like Cornell, though. But then again, plastic surgeons do wonder, these days, look:

Gotta go with this and Alice In Chains New album. Seriously, fuck you Jerry Cartell, Layne died in 2002 of heroin, His music with AiC will go down in history as fucking amazing. You did NOT find a new shitty vocalist to make generic Rock/Metal.

Not going to repeat St. Anger as it's already been said several times and will probably be mentioned several more times at least, so...

Judas Priest released an album called Demolition? Never heard of it. Also, Iron Maiden released nothing between 1994 and 2000. Anything you may have heard claiming to be from them during that span is the work of a group of evil alien dopplegangers.
BRAVE NEW WORLD WAS A GOOD ALBUM DAMNIT!

They're not my favourite band, but I completely deny the existence of Linkin Park's Reanimation. ((and that other one that was a remix with JayZ or something WTF))

I only count 3 Linkin Park albums - Hybrid Theory, Meteora and Minutes to Midnight. (and MtM isn't that great)

It's a shame Novasonic disappeared off the face of the earth after Slam. I bet if they did make a third release, it would still have that rap-metal combination that would have rocked my face off two times beforehand.

I'm sure glad Disturbed took that giant hiatus after Ten Thousand Fists. I'd hate to believe they'd release anything after that.

Worth pointing out that they're not my favourite, but I do enjoy their music up to Ten Thousand Fists. My actual favourite band, Nine Inch Nails, have yet to disappoint me.
I don't think Indestructible was 'horrible', but yeah, compared to Believe, The Sickness and Ten Thousand Fists it is quite shitty.

Following along that line, I like all work Ayreon has put forth except his latest album 01011001. Once again, not horrible, but not as goddamn brilliant as his previous work either. I could continue even further down this line and mention the likes of the Arctic Monkeys, Billy Talent and The Flatliners, but the only thing really worth mentioning aside from Disturbed is probably Finntroll. Midnattens Widunder, great. Jaktens Tid, pretty good. The acoustic Visor Om Slutet, awesome. Natfodd, pretty good. Ur Jordens Djup... ugh. That said, songs from that album sound about five times as awesome live than they do on the actual record.

Muse - The Resistance

I liked it when it wasn't embarrassing to be a Muse fan.
Agreed. I like all of their other albums. But The Resistance is just so boring.

I didnt know it was embarassing to be a fan. I must have missed that memo.
See, the trouble is that they're now putting out crap like Undisclosed Desires. Paired with their newfound association with the Twilight franchise, it feels like they're catering to teenage girls. I was proud to be a Muse fan when they were, y'know, a ROCK BAND.
I got ninja'd. Hard. And I like Undisclosed Desires, but Guiding Light and I Belong to You were awful.
WHAT?!

You mean you didn't like the CLARINET SOLO?!
Thanks for reminding me. My day is ruined.

Yes indeed it was. And it was released in 2000. I think you misinterpreted what I said as meaning "they released nothing in 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, or 2000." What "between 1994 and 2000" meant was "1994-2000 non-inclusive"...in other words they released nothing in 1995 (when a supposed album called "The X Factor" came out), 1996, 1997, 1998 (when the alien clones put out something called "Virtual XI"), or 1999.

Sheesh, the old saying is true. It's not funny if you have to explain it.

I think the biggest one is that second album the Kaiser Chiefs didn't make. They just didn't.

The truthful ninja. Been a Muse fan for about a decade (yes, since Showbiz) and this is the firsts cd I didn't bother buying. Agree with the statement that they were way better when they did rock. Still think Origin of Symmetry is their best. Resistance was basically everything I don't like about their style, which has been going downhill since OoS.

Also, my two goth 'friends' (people I got stuck knowing through mutual acquaintances) who read Anne Rice and Twilight books heard it and think it's great (they alwas hated Muse before), so I'm also slightly embarrassed about being a Muse fan now. Just as well, I suppose. The shirts had been washed so many times they were starting to fall apart.

A few years ago some rather malicious anti-Metallica jerks started spreading the rumour that the band released a totally awful album called St. Anger. So glad it wasn't true however.
You want to know something scary? I actually know people who liked it! Which is weird, how do you like something which doesn't exist?
Oh my! A few years ago I would have said the same thing about Duke Nukem Forever until that actually got released and was fantastic...oh wait.

Yeah I remember that, did you see the lengths they went to? There was even a album cover mock-up.

See? The rumour even made it onto Wiki! The effort some people will put into destroying a band's reputation..

Mannnn his stuff with Timbaland wasn't THAT bad. I like most Cornell's solo work.

But Soundgarden was some of Cornell's best stuff in my opinion. Spooooonmaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnnn...

To the topic though... I will have to say I have no recollection of a new album for Slipknot. That last releases I remember were the 9.0 Live CDs... but anything recent? Oh God no.

P.S. Oh and Chris Cornell is pretty much a god in my eyes. Don't question his motives. ;)

Myself, I liked the clarinet solo, but I'm a bit of a sucker for the instrument. When at my mother's, and listening to her Mozart collection, I always pick out the string or clarinet quartets/quintets.

But yeah, that album is terrible, and I used to really really like them.
