So, I was listening to music on youtube (as I am want to do), and I came upon this jaw-dropping wonder:

It is some of the most bizarre grindcore I have ever heard, but I absolutely adore it. So I decided I wanted to find other music that is similarly bizarre. Post some of your favorite pieces of bizarre music! No points for posting obvious stuff, like Mr Bungle, Primus, Captain Beefheart, or Zappa you plebs.

Another bizarre favorite of mine:

That's not very nice. :(

For someone who does make at least a small note of liking "bizarre" music when this stuff comes up I should probably expand my horizons a bit more though, seriously.

I think these guys might be considered 'obvious stuff' by the terms in the OP, but I don't care.

I like them and I will continue to like them. So there!

Does Deerhooof count?

I'd add some Björk, but I guess that's a bit too obvious and not weird enough.

Devin Townsend's "Deconstruction", no doubt. The whole album is quite bizarre, like having a 16-minute track called "The Mighty Masturbator", but the titular track takes the cake. It's beyond words.

Go to 5:23 for shit hitting the fan big time.

GOOD LORRRD IT'S A CHEEEEEESEBURGERRRRRR

I'm surprised I actually ran across Townsend pretty long ago (6 years? I have no specific idea, actually) considering my music tastes weren't all that varied at the time. Not that Devin Townsend is really reaching very far into the depths of obscurity or finding a diamond in the rough, but he's definitely pretty silly at times.

To me that would be Paprika OST

That film was weirdly awesome! It's a shame that Satoshi Kon was taken from us too soon.

But Zappa is the king of this topic! The stuff you posted isn't anywhere near as bizarre in comparison.

Or something pleasant with a mad man yelling over it

Golly gee, bizarre is such a subjective term, um, is avant-garde stuff ok, or does it have to be accedetaly bizarre, or could we just have genres we find wierd?

heck, heres the full album

I still feel like I'm missing some stuff, oh well.

If some of you don't find some of this bizarre, then I severely underestimated you all.

Obvious or not, Zappa deserves mention regardless mister OP. I mean, just listen to these lyrics:

So I Bent Down
And I Reached Down
And I Scooped Down
And I Gathered up a Generous Mitten Full of the Deadly
Yellow Snow
The Deadly Yellow Snow
From Right There Where the Huskies Go

Where Upon I Proceeded to Take
That Mitten Full of the Deadly Yellow Snow Crystals
And Rub it All into His Beady Little Eyes
With a Vigorous Circular Motion
Hither to Unknown to the People in This Area
But Destined to Take the Place of
The Mud Shark in Your Mythology
Here it Goes Now
The Circular Motion
Rub it!
I still can't believe that man made all that shit without drugs. How do you even... It's better not to ask, probably. Bloody good musically too, but Christ those lyrics... And don't even mention the what-the-fuck-ness that is "Afternoon of a Sexually Aroused Gas Mask".

Purely musically and less obvious I'll add some of the glorious madness that is Master Musicians Of Bukkake. If you ever want a truly scary trip, this is what you should listen to:

That album cover alone, sheesh.

There are a lot of composers who were about breaking down the definition of music. I'm so separated from that era of music that I can't recall composers off the top of my head to show them. Some of the "avant-garde" composers have strange compositions, music that you can't listen to because it sounds plain unpleasant or weird while still maintaining some form of togetherness that the orchestra is all together and all the shrill sounds, crunches, and even scream are part of the show. Music that you truly go what the fuck, why? to.

Skip to 8:15 in this recording. Tell me that doesn't make you want to go "WHY WOULD ANYONE PERFORM THAT?" That's bizarro music to me.

Ligeti is another composer I'd suggest for that, but I like him because he actually has moments of beauty in between all of the "what the fuck, why?" moments.

The original version of the Malcolm in the Middle theme is pretty bizarre.

This was the placeholder song before it got officially picked up (it was being optioned by HBO who partly funded the pilot):

Not sure if they qualify, but these are fairly unusual:
