I challenge you to find a more epic fight.
While that was pretty epic, it's got nothing on the fight with Zeus in God of War III

Oh, and that's my answer along with the final fight with Liquid Ocelot in MGS4.
Sadly, I've yet to play God of War III.
It's killing me.
[sub]Rhyming = Unintentional[/sub]

But the fight with Liquid is incredible. Especially hearing the tracks creep from one to another as the battle rages on.
I know. Its absolutely amazing. And also the hardest boss I've ever fought.

And about God of War III, all I have to say is why? Get it.

[HEADING=1]NOW!!!!!![/HEADING]

Its totally worth the 3 year wait.

Truly, it took me atleast 3 goes!

One of my fav's was the final battle on MGS4. Snake vs. liquid. Mano a mano. A truly epic slug fest, what better way to end the story.

Goht, form Majora's Mask.

It was just so fun chasing him and rolling around as Goron Link.

Chaos from Dissidia, best fighting game boss ever. He's hard but not stricken with SNK syndrome therefore he's the GOOD kind of hard. Not to mention he's epic as hell and actually FUN to fight...well unless it's a lvl 150 version of him, which will fuck you up big time.

I don't remember their names but there are these two guys in River City Ransom (for the NES or Wii virtual console). My friend and I were playing and we kept killing them for money and one time after we had killed one we teamed up on the second one. he knocked down my friend. When NPC's or PC's are knocked down in RCR they can be picked up like items until they get back up. Forgetting this I accidentally picked up my Friend and beat the boss over the head with him until the boss died. After that I threw my friend in a nearby lake just to be a jerk. Nothing can/will ever make me laugh as hard as I did then.

The final fight with Liquid Ocelot in MGS4, it's just quite awesome and the background songs brings back so many memories from the previous games.

Metal Gear Rex vs. Metal Gear Ray in MGS4, it's Metal Gear vs. Metal Gear it doesn't get more cool than that.

The Fight with Hades in God Of War III, it was just so fast and it felt like Hades was changing his fighting technique every 3 or 4 hits so it kept you on your toes the entire time.

That fight was so epic that it has completely erased itself frommy own perceptions of what a boss fight is.

The one that really changed how I saw boss fights was the amazing boss battle against Psycho Mantis in the first Metal Gear Solid.

Gohma in Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, because she makes me feel like a badass when I kill her in 5 seconds. Literally, 5 seconds.

Majora's Mask, in Majora's Mask, because (especially when you're 10 years old) it's just so twisted to watch it go through the transformations.

The Four Horsemen in World of Warcraft. Unfortunately, I never had the pleasure of doing it in vanilla, but they still sufficiently stomped my colon, along with the colons of my 9 PuG-mates in WotLK.

Alec Trevelyan in 007: Goldeneye on 00Agent. He was responsible for my blood pressure spiking an uncountable amount of times with his refusal to JUST FUCKING DIE.

The Stained Glass Demon Boss Thing in Medievil. I only rented the game, but that boss was still one of my favourite childhood video game moments.

I liked facing The End from MGS3, especially on harder difficulties, the whole jungle area made it really cool to sneak through and it'd be really rewarding if you managed to sneak up behind him.

Alternately, if you manage to kill him before that fight, facing the GRU squad was a lot of fun aswell, brought a different aspect to that part of the game, sneaking through and silently taking down guys with CQC, awesome stuff. Probably my favourite Metal Gear, I hope they make it playable on the PS3 via download or something.
