What I would love to see is a "Yes, Minister" revival. With what's going on in the world today, there's plenty of script-fodder.

I think I've seen that show... it's the one about the British PM and his aides, right? If so, I second that.

I also second Futurama. It was a good show, and it still has a lot of potential to be good.

I was just thinking about what TV shows that I like that are no longer on anymore.

My top 2 are
1. home movies
2. futurama

so tell me what tv shows do you guys like that have been canceled?
Home Movies is still airing re-runs on Adult Swim and Futurama is airing re-runs on Comedy Central. So while there aren't any new episodes, they're still on TV.

Arrested Development, my favorite comedy besides The Office
Space Ghost Coast to Coast
Invader Zim
Bill Nye, I would watch this show all the time as a kid. It made science interesting for me. I wonder what happened to Bill anyways.
Brainiac, also made science interesting

I found both of these shows to be so entertaining to watch, I never understood why they got canceled, especially Odyssey 5.

Odyssey 5 - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Odyssey_5
Space: Above and Beyond - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Space:_Above_and_Beyond

I own Firefly on DVD but to be honest, when I first saw it on tv, I thought it sucked but I did come in part way into the season - for whatever weird reason, the show just rocks when watched without commercials getting in the way, though I find that to be the case with any number of good shows are just better when there are a lack of commercials present interrupting the flow of the story and I don't have to wait what can seem like arbitrary lengths of time for the next episode. I gave it a shot after Serenity, and when I get to watch it all in a row like that, it is a pretty epic show. Though I don't have the first clue how the show would continue with Preacher, Wash and the ship... would that be spoiling it for anyone? I think I will just leave it there. I think with the movie, the show has pretty much run its course and its done - I know I am glad it is done on high note instead of dragged out to be flogged like the latest X-Files movie.

I third it, Yes Minister was awesome. If you liked it, I thoroughly recommend seeking out Absolute Power. 2 seasons of Stephen Fry as an evil master of PR, manipulating the media to cater to the whims of his clients. It's fantastic.

Jekyll, as in the BBC (mini)series? I second that - I was really bummed to hear that they didn't pick it up for a second round, there were some insane plot holes but I really got a kick out of it.

I'm psyched that Terminator is coming back. I'm old enough to have memories of Brian Austin Green tooling it up on 90210, so it's particularly amusing to see him as a sexy male lead.
