What? The occasional weird thing isn't bad....

It's a tie between the opening to Hellsing, and the opening to School Rumble.

Both are so completely different that it's hard to say that one is better than the other.

And I'll have to Amen you on that Hellsing one there. The whole original Hellsing soundtrack fills me with ragtimey joyness. =]

"Ride on Shooting Star" from FLCL
"Inner Universe" from Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex
"Dream Island Obsessional Park" from Paranoia Agent
Even old school stuff like Robotech and Batman: The Animated Series.

Favorite anime theme, I would have to go with Black Lagoon, its heavy yet understandable. Cromartie High School has good lyrics and is fun to mumbly sing along cause I don't know Japanese. Cartoon theme, I'd go with Metalocalypse or the Transformers.

Well most of my favourites have already been named, and I'm not one who's going to post Tank! from Cowboy Bebop for the bazillionth time no matter how much I love it.

Thats the one, but it lacks some visuals for some reason. And why haven't WMG claimed the soundtrack of this one. The music is exactly the same as the original.

This, and the theme from Tokyo Underground, Neon Genesis Evangelion, the first opening song from Death Note, RahXephon, Hellsing and some else I cannot right now remember...

IMO the second theme to the death note seres where better, i found the first one too whinny. Then again i am a metalhead, so i dont mind Death metal style vocals.

The theme to Kino's Journey is prett good as well, it just sets the mood perfectly.

EDIT: the Elfen Lied is also quite good, but its not something you want to have on your iPod
