Wow you guys make me feel old. Most of the shows listed here were on around the time I was almost outta high school. There's way too many for me to mention, except no one's giving Ren & Stimpy any props, so I'll go with that.

I loved the cartoons they showed while I was growing up. So basically the cartoons from 90s to early 2000 as others have said before. More specifically any cartoon from the DC Animated Universe, and the "Steven Spielberg presents" cartoons (Animaniacs, Freakazoid, Tiny Toons, Pinky and the Brain). My favorite "adult cartoon" is King of the Hill.

I feel bad for kids, there are few, if any good cartoons now.

Well my favorite cartoon is Avatar: The Last Airbender. Heck, it's my favorite show, period. But thankfully, I didn't see it when I was a kid: I saw it when I was old enough to truly understand its complexity and awesomeness.

When I was a kid... you mean little kid? 'Cause if so, The Magic School Bus for sure. Otherwise... Recess. Win.
