Favorite cartoons growing up?

Growing up as a child with no cable, cartoons were limited to Saturday mornings on 2 of our local channels, WB and what's known as the CW now. The two shows I remember fondly as a kid was the first season of Pokemon and the first two seasons of Yu-Gi-Oh. Oh...good times.

How about the rest of you? What did you watch as a kid? What do you still watch?

Animaniacs was AMAZING. I watched that as well, along with Tiny Toons.

Same with the OP with Pokemon, I also remember the first season of Digimon well.
otherwise it was just shows I remember seeing on the BBC1 channel CBBC airslots.

First cartoon I ever watched and enjoyed was Tintin, was my favorite. Then it was Pokemon & Digimon for a long time.

Looney Tunes, Captain Planet, Jem and the Holograms, the TV series of Aladdin, Sailor Moon...ah, those were the days.

I couldn't get into DBZ when it came out. I hated they way that they'd spin out every episode by having endless montages of overmuscled and bulging-veined dudes standing around straining and twitching and making 'NNNGH' noises. I wanted the story!!

I can still remember the theme tune to Ed, Edd and Eddy. It's stuck in my head now...

But in addition to this, I was a massive cartoon watcher when I grew up - I also had a big thing for Pokemon, Sailor Moon (Hey, it was cool when I was 7), Doug, Avenger Penguins and Biker Mice From Mars.

I used to watch Rugrats a lot but I didn't really like it as much... it was more 'just there'.
