I prefer Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here.
And the Queen box set, "The Crown Jewels", I could listen to it forever.

One of my favorite albums of all time, maybe just for the nostalgia associated with it, is "Smash" from the Offspring.

Black Sabbath's "Paranoid"
Mastodon's "Leviathan"
I'm loving those two albums, to add to those:

Metallica - The Black Album
Jay-Z - Reasonable Doubt
Nirvana - Live and Unppluged in New York
Led Zepplin - Led Zepplin IV

I could rattle on and on about great albums those are just ones I've listened to recently.

OP's selection of "Whatever & Ever Amen" is laudable, but the CD I enjoyed most was probably the first Hackers soundtrack. It was my first proper introduction to electronica and I don't think I've enjoyed any other album so much.
The first Matrix soundtrack was pretty good, too.

My favorite CD of all time is Say Anything - ...Is a Real Boy. Great CD with an amazing background story; anybody who likes alternative/indie music should check the band out.

Make Yourself or S.C.I.E.N.C.E by Incubus, incredible music.

I agree with RATM's self titled debut and Lateralus by Tool quite a bit too.

Audioslave's first album and Revelations are just amazing too.

Too hard to pick one.

This is a tough post owning 300 CD's, (they make great decorations for a living space and are something as a matter of pride not pirating anything). By favourite album i can be swung to either side of Most played: Led Zeppelin Best of, or CD of Choice: Audioslave (self titled). The CD of choice is because every track on that album hits like a truck but rolls out like a Jag.

The Wild, The Innocent, and The E-Street Shuffle by The E-Street band
Good choice. But for me, Nebraska.
That one has grown on me, but just about all those songs are better live imo!
Live done with the E-Street Band, or live acoustic?

I really like folk Springsteen, so. Not to say that he doesn't rock. The song, E-Street Shuffle is a favourite. Either way, you get friended.

Songs for the Deaf by Queens of the Stone Age and Absolution by Muse would have to be up there as well

I'm not sure if they were acoustic or not, but "Nebraska, Reason to Believe, and Johnny 99" in the Live 75-85 cd were far superior to the album versions.
