Mine would have to be Green Christmas by the Barenaked Ladies. It represents my feeling of the occasion pretty accurately.

The Pogues, but that has already been mentioned, so I'm gonna put forward my second place song and say The Darkness - Christmas Time (Bells End).

Edit 2: figured it out, that was easy in hindsight

Ooh, yeah, I love Carol of the Bells the most.

This version is my new favorite, but George Winston did a piano cover that was just beautiful.
Which reminds me... I also love Christmas Time is Here... the Charlie Brown one? That's so fun to play on piano... so relaxing. And I'm not religious, but I also love O Holy Night. It's just so pretty. These three my actually all be my favorite... now that I'm thinking about it.

I know it sounds hokey, but I'm not ashamed to admit that I do love Christmas music (well, some), but I get so tired of it halfway through the month. I'm gonna hold out and not listen until the 15th. ^.^

I...I think I might love you  Carol of the Bells is my favorite, too. And you are the first person I've ever found that seems to enjoy it as much as I do, especially George Winston's amazing version! You might also check out the Trans-Siberian Orchestra's version if you want an epic version, and the Bird and the Bee offer a very "alternative" version. Theirs is sort of like if Arcade Fire did the Carol of the Bells.

But apart from my near obsession with that song, I like Do You Hear What I Hear performed by Vanessa Williams, and the little drummer boy performed by...well anyone, really. Gospel choirs, mostly. Here is that version of Do You Hear What I Hear:

OMG, how do we have the exact same taste in Christmas music? Your love is reciprocated. <3 I'm definitely definitely checking those out.

And I love those other two too. Like, a lot. Like... I almost listed them too. o_O Crazy.

And this for being by John motherfucking Lennon:

Oh my god that song is just god awful; it's what you?d find if the 1960?s were a bulimic supermodel and after a night of binging on food she spent the next 10 minutes vomiting into the toilet.

If I somehow started World War III I'd play that annoying hippie song while cities were getting nuked just for the lulz.

Satan singing "Christmas Time In Hell" from South Park.

A close second is "Fairytale of New York" by the Pogues.

It's a very touching song, but it's not my favorite. I only like it because I get to watch my douchey, egotistical, Napolean-esque, frat boy brother cry like a baby.

God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen
Performed by Ronnie James Dio, Tony Iommi, Rudy Sarzo and Simon Wright

That's right, Dio and Tony Iommi singing a song about Jesus. It doesn't get better than that.

Just look up the album "We Wish You a Metal X-mas and a Headbanging New Year. It is mind blowingly awesome
