I am not such a big fan of stand up comedians but some of them are alright I guess.

Found this guy a few days ago on Youtube and I found him pretty funny.

So who is your favorite comedian?

George Carlin or John Cleese I suppose.
No reason really. I don't really know that many comedians.

Bill Bailey, Eddie Izzard, Michael MacIntyre, Rich Hall, Rhod Gilbert. I like comedians who aren't personally offensive, although Rhod can walk the line sometimes.

Nthing George Carlin. Guy is not afraid to tell it like it is...and he's also a prophet! He actually talked about people disinfecting this and that and cooking the shit out of stuff to avoid all kinds of germs...and weakening our immune system as a result. What happened later? Medical science actually PROVED that all the disinfecting and stuff could result in a weakened immune system. Not bad Mr. Carlin...not bad at all.

I'm also partial to Gallagher. He acts like a goof, but he can get real cerebral with a lot of his subjects. In fact he was the one who made me realize just how broken the English language is.

Eddie Murphy makes a great stand up comedian. His movies are hit and miss, but his stand up shows are just hilarious. A friend had it on his ipod and we were listening to it in maths while working, we got kicked out because we couldn't stop laughing.

I quite like Alan Carr. Hmm, John Oliver is my favourite though, he has a lot of fun comments on society. <3

I think Daniel Tosh is pretty hilarious, on his show Tosh.O and his stand-up, I see his show more often, but his stand-up specials on comedy central are great.

Adam Hills .... I think he is the best Aussie Comic ever, he's smart funny whitty and dosent just use Offensive humour for a cheap laugh, he will offend but with skill.

Other than that, Dylan Moran

Easily Demetri Martin, who is not only my greatest comedic inspiration, but is also one of my personal heros for reasons outside his comedy. Watch his special: "If I..." for more.
