Recently I was going through some of my old possessions and find some good comics. I found some of the first X-Men comics and one of my childhood favorites "Calvin and Hobbes".

So this just made me want to share and ask you fellow escapist whats your favorite comic

Booster Gold.

You've probably never heard of him.

I'd have to go with The Coffin.
Sadly I don't think anyone's bloody heard of it.

It might not even count considering it was more like a graphic novel.

Edit: A quick Google...

"Review:
What if Dr. Frankenstein has created a monster?..of himself.

That?s the premise of THE COFFIN.

This title asks what if man has the created the technology to trap the very soul of human beings inside a machine.

Sounds cool huh? Don?t worry it is. With a very interesting plot and very dark/moody art, THE COFFIN delivers one of the more entertaining graphic novels published today.

And it doesn?t hurt that the James Cameron?s Lightstorm Studio has acquired the rights to produce a live-action feature film of the book. So read the book now and be one of the first people to have a sneek peak of the upcoming movie."

Oh my Gods.

When I was younger I loved Calvin and Hobbes, I still enjoy it to this day. But now, my favorite comic book/ graphic novel is the MAX publishing line of 'The Punisher ',

Calvin and Hobbes, by far the smartest and most relatable comic I've ever read.

Also, Negima!? has the best action in any comic I've seen. And yes, manga DOES count as a comic, it's just a comic from Japan. Deal with it.

Requiem: Vampire Knight

the artwork is so surreal and amazing, the story and setting are very different and interesting, and the whole thing screams "black metal"

How can I not like it?
