I have two problems with that, firstly, the way they crammed the arc plot stuff in, very clumsy.Bitter Hobbit said:Yea love this episode myself, really felt the bond between the Doctor and the Tardis and that for all his years of time travel and all the change's he has seen (and done) she is the only consistency he has in his life.x EvilErmine x said:The Doctors Wife - written by Neil Gaiman.
Wonderful episode that really captures the bond between the doctor and the tardis I think, it shows how the tardis is kinda the doctors only real love, companions come and go but the tardis will always be with him
I also really love the exchange:
D "You never take me where I wanted to go."
T "No, I always took you where you needed to go."
It was a great interesting idea that could of failed, and tbh the only reason I do like it is due to the banter and exchange's between the Doctor and the Tardis, the villain and the strange family weren't all that good imo.
Second, and more importantly, it should have changed things. Next week they went back to exactly how things were before.
Hell, later on, it's shown that the TARDIS has a visual interface thingy, and could talk to the Doctor whenever it wanted to, didn't have to wait til it was stuck in a human.
