How about the one that was awesome, featuring a stunning plot, fantastic character development and totally unique and thrilling action sequences? You know, the one that doesn't exist because every single one was a cheaply and quickly made piece of crap thrown together to cash in on a successful and popular franchise. Kinda like Dragonball Evolution, but done by the original creators.

I think the first three were some of the best: Dead Zone; Tree of Might; and the World's Strongest. Cooler's Revenge and Broly the Legendary Super Saiyan were pretty decent, but I still think the first three were the best.

And I refuse to acknowledge that Plan to Eradicate the Super Saiyans exists. That was the worst movie ever.

World's Strongest.

It's not about power levels or the latest baddie from space. It's about human ambition and SCIENCE.
Yes, that one... Also was to only one I saw.

I'll just side with the majority and say Bardock and Trunks, because, y'know, those are the only two that actually fit in the continuity. Or make several characters feel, well, out of character.

The History of Trunks is my favorite movie/special. If I was just going by the movies, I would go with Cooler's Revenge, although I haven't seen movies 10-12, or the 2nd and 4th Dragon Ball movies and the new Plan to Eradicate the Super Saiyans special.

I love the Trunks special beacause it tells the tragic back story of my favorite Saiyan character (Piccolo and Cell are my favorite characters though). The other TV special, Bardock: The Father of Goku, is also really good, but I find it inferior since the Saiyans aren't very sympathetic characters. Neat prequel though.

Cooler's Revenge really would have made a fun filler arc, but like all the movies it's rushed with no feeling of consequence. I really liked Wrath of the Dragon as well up until the end where it just kind of ends.

History of Trunks only because I actually haven't seen Bardock's special yet.

I still have yet to watch History of Trunks :/
It is good. It does seem to mess with canon in the show though. Although it is just a few minor details.

I love Dragaon ball z and have enjoyed with it's all movies and also with Dragon ball z episodes [http://download-dragon-ball-z-english-episodes.edogo.com/]. My most favorite movie, with which i've enjoyed myself too much is Tree of Might. I love it so much.

I actually had that on DVD lol when I was younger but I didn't really like it because it was horribly dubbed. Goku had a deep voice, and Bulma had a new York Accent.

The History of Trunks. The battles are intense, it gives a dark, bleak look at Trunks' future and what he has to deal with almost daily, and the story is like a sick twist of the "sports underdog training to be the best".

Ah, you're in Europe or Canada, aren't you? Yeah, they had two different dub companies for DBZ outside the US; Ocean Group, or Blue Waters as they are sometimes called, who did the actual series, and then the dub known as the "Big Green" dub, who did the movies. They are known for being horrendously bad, and did all the movies from Dead Zone to I think Broly: The Legendary Super Saiyan before Ocean said "you guys suck at this" and took the reigns for the rest.

Apologies for double-posting, I hadn't read that yet, and I had to comment on it.

History of Trunks for the reasons OniYouji said. A more compelling 'destroyed future' story than the 3rd and 4th Terminator movies if nothing else.

Funny how even with how easy it is to come back from the dead in that series that movie marks the only time Gohan has ever died.

Actually that might be a funny AMV, one of the Terminators with Androids 17/18 in place of Skynet or vice versa.
