Hell, Pokemon Colosseum (#1) introduced this tactic to me, in one of the Versus Arenas.
And me and my brother still use it in the Battle Tower Multi-Battles to this day
He even throws in Toxic so my Facade destroys MORE
I once had a Snorlax with Belly Drum, Rest and Snore. I equipped him with Leftovers, now THAT was a killer.
Oh, and remember that one boss in Colosseum, who had a pair of Ludicolos with the Rain Dish ability, and the Rain Dance and Dive moves? That battle was sheer torture.
Lance, not only was he in the Elite Four, but he cared enough about the well being of Pokemon to go to Mahogany Town and help you kick the crap out of team rocket.
