The Wallace and Gromitt episode with the evil penguin.

Sometimes the shows which have only small amounts of dialogue are the best, since they focus more on funny events.

Looney Tunes - Oh, so much to choose from. For the moment, I think I'll pick Robin Hood Daffy.

"Ho! Haha! Guard! Turn! Parry! Dodge! Spin! Ha! Thrust!"
They absolutely perfected slapstick. Timeless.

Although, if we go into my later childhood, then we'd get to Avatar, which is still firmly on my top 10 list of all shows, maybe top 5. For that... Yikes, which episode was best? I think I'd probably pick the end of Book One - Siege of the Northern Water Tribe. Excellent music, character development, plot resolution, and they do some really effective and subtle stuff with the colour palette late in the episode that you probably don't notice the first time you watch it.

Damn, when will they announce the air date for Book 2 of Korra?

There are probably others that I like more but that's what I got right now.
Teen Titans gets mixed feelings on this site, but I remember it fondly. The pseudo-anime style suited the mood(s) they were going for.

I actually watched that a couple of weeks ago. It was one of the trippier things I've seen lately. It also lasted 2-3 episodes.

I have two that spring to mind. The first is from Courage the cowardly dog and the episode is Freaky Fred and the other is The Grim adventures of Billy and Mandy and the part is Little rock of horrors as it had Voltaire singing Brains!. I also love the first season of Pokemon. The theme song brings back many fond memories.

I'm honestly surprised no one's mentioned the Johnny Bravo and Scooby Doo crossover episode.
I don't think I'll ever stop finding this joke funny. I think this might have been the first crossover of anything I'd seen too, so it was pretty darn cool at the time.

Ed Edd and Eddy in the 'haunted' house. One episode that perfectly captures every characters, the world and its insanity. Easily some of Eds best confused lines.

For Johnny Bravo as awesome as the Scooby Doo crossover was I'd have to say where he runs to the toystore to buy something just to impress a little girls older sister. The ending was pure Bravo!

My favorite episode of MegasXLR was "All i wanted was a slushie"

I just love the over the top use of the typical MegasXLR humor and action. Plus the nature of the villain was kinda cool and clever.
I was having trouble thinking of one, then I read that and the REGIS Mk V quotes hit my brain like a truck. "Do not panic. You will all die."

There are heaps, but I can't remember any of the names of the episodes since it's been awhile so just what I can find. Except I won't be throwing in The Simpsons and South Park because everyone who liked those shows has seen them all.

Popeye vs Sinbad. They called it a mini movie since it went a little longer than the average episode. I reckon this is the best of the series. Enjoy.

Finally found one... kinda. I could only find this weird vid with a little bit of the episode in it. This one Pokemon episode where this ***** kept going on about how all Pokemon matches could be predicted through a game machine thing they made and you just wanted to her to get her cu-muffins. One of the better episodes even though I'm no fan now.

Punky Brewster, episode: The Perils of Punky.

Watch this, and remember - this is for kids.

Sweet Jesus what were they thinking?

Coming up next on "Dora the Explorer: I Spit On Your Grave Edition" ...

EDIT: In case you were wondering, I'm a paranoid survivalist loon these days.

I blame Punky.

Episode 21 of Digimon Adventure - Directed by Mamoru Hasoda who directed Summer Wars and The Girl Who Lept Through Time, this episode is very different to the episodes that came beore it. Essentially Tai is transported back to the real world and realised nothing as changed, he has to go back and help his friends but he wants to stay with his sister. Although that plot does not sound like much, the art direction is drastically different and has a washed out tone which complements the melancholic tone of the episode. One of my favourites.

Just one for each show? Well...

The Angry Beavers: The Day the World Got Really Screwed Up
Danny Phantom: Masters of Time
Ed Edd n' Eddy: 1 +1 = ED
Futurama: Roswell that Ends Well
Invader Zim: Halloween Spectacular of Spooky Doom
Megas XLR: Rearview Mirror Mirror (do 2-parters count?)
The Powerpuff Girls: Meet the Beatalls
Samurai Jack: The Aku Infection
The Simpsons: Behind the Laughter
Spongebob Squarepants: Band Geeks

...Basically, I preferred cartoons as a kid...
