Firefly especially. Also, though it can't really be considered a failure, Futurama deserved several more series. Both down to Fox.

Where to begin...

1) Invader Zim
(SO great with SO much more potential, blighted by the family groups' pressuring of a network it should never have been on!)
2) Futurama
3) Code Monkeys
(Its not like theres anything else on G4 of quality you need to make room for, at least not VIDEO GAME related!)
4) Frisky Dingo
5) The Xtacles
(2 Fucking Episodes and the damn studio breaks apart!)
6) Andy Barker P.I.
(Say what you will, I thought it was funny.)
7) The Big O
(Come on AdultSwim! This is coming from a non-Japanophile, bring it back for the much needed third season, or throw us a movie or something! This is the only fucking anime I'll watch other then Akira!)

At least they're promising a Samurai Jack movie, I'm a little insulted by the stereotype that is the Scotsman, but he's a great character nontheless (more a Roddy Piper, than Groundskeeper Willy mind you) and I'd like to see him fleshed out more.

Pushing Daisies was excellent. The best show I've ever seen by far. I wish SyFy would pick it up. It only ran for 1.75 seasons...the last few episodes weren't even aired!
I think you and I are the only people that thought so. :p
no, even though i came in at the beginning of the last season(2nd lol) it was an amazing show.

I here ya mate,

Any show about hotrods, giant robots, video games, slackers, and subtle Motorhead allusions is good in my book.

I was GOING to say Invader ZIM, but when I watch the episodes now, they aren't nearly as funny and come off as just cynically stupid. So, I'd say that I sort of enjoyed Millennium before it became crappy Christian stuff taking all credibility that it once had.

Really hard to pick just one but i can nam one.

Samurai Jack

They made a big whoop-de-doo over it and then it just kind of...faded away. I know it sucked the voice actor for Aku died, but the least they could have done was give the series an ending.

Don't fret lad,

Although the plans for a Samarai Jack movie in 2002 got axed after the bloody Powerpuff Girls movie tanked, the bloke who made it has been adament about making one in the coming future, hopefully sooner then later.

I think it might have even started production by now.

I wouldn't count shows like Rome, Fawlty Towers and Father Ted as failed. These show ran for as long as the makers wanted them to and reached satisfactory resolutions, and there was not going to be any more epsiodes planned. British shows don't tend to run for as long as US ones do.

I would have to nominate Veronica Mars. There was a fourth season planned, and the 3rd finished on a cliff hanger but then...well damn.

That's what I heard over a year ago, sadly...with how CN has been epic fail lately, i doubt we'll see one.

Broken News. The show that introduced the world to tomato flu and the concept that "bulletproof" isn't necessarily "woodproof". Unfortunately nobody has heard of it despite the fact that it was at a mainstream time on a mainstream channel, there isn't even a single clip of it on youtube.

I don't know how many series a show has to do to be fail immune, but Whose Line is it Anyway, despite being around for ages, was eventually cancelled due to low ratings. Which is a shame because it's so darn funny.
