Who is your favorite fictional character?

I'd have to say Alyx Vance, she's just so well characterized.

Oh man I <3 Alyx Vance so muuch! So I'm with you on that. But I also love Samus Aran and Major Motoko Kusanagi. And then there's a list of other characters I like but I can't pick just one favorite x_x

For me it has to be the Arbiter. Seriously given my avatar and general attitude this shouldn't be too surprising but seriously the guy's like my god. I know there are better characterised video game characters out there but when it comes right down to it, he's one badass honor bound alien with some cool armor and a reptilian body structure and he was my favourite thing about Halo 2.

Also gotta mention Rorschach from Watchmen and Ellen Ripley from the Alien series.

Roach. Even though the closest thing he has to dialogue is heavy breathing, and you never get to see what he looks like.

Also Pyramid Head.

Gotta be Ratchet. I like him so very very much. He's funny, he's cute, he's got guns the size of a motorbike. What's not to like?

And unlike TF2 team, i can actually choose him and not be accused of cheating - i couldn't choose best one of TF2 residents no matter how hard i'd try.

Jon Shannow or "The Painted man" he has a real name I just forgot it and for most of the book that is what he is referred to anyway.

I wonder how exactly I could decide. I've read/watched/played a lot of fiction after all. Still, default answer, I guess.

Saber, from Fate/Stay Night. Cute, badass, competitive, honorable, protective and selfless to a fault, eventually grows enough to realize that her own happiness has worth...

Simon from Gurren Lagann. He goes from a pansy to the embodiment of bad-assery. Such a thing makes him the ultimate character in my book.

Well I have a few favorites... The Joker, Scarecrow, Eddie (Iron Maiden's mascot), Rorschach, and Hannibal Lecter are my top 5

D-Gray Man's General Cross Marian.

He abuses his student Allen, refuses to go back to headquaters, has bailed on every single bill he's ever had. Even tricking others into paying them for him. And yet despite being a complete dick he's one of the good guys, Whose willing to do his job when he his truly needed, I love characters like that.

Dr. Cox, J.D, The Janitor, 'Soap' MacTavish and Turk are up there.
As is Edward Cullen. *Runs away quickly from extreme hate* If you find this, PLEASE stop randomly highlighting my posts.

Ooh, where to begin...

Gotta say.. Jack Skellington.

YES, JACK SKELLINGTON, I FUCKING LOVED HIM. He was bloody awesome in every single way; he was complex, with varying emotions. He was good-intentioned, but instead of being your typical Marty Stu he honestly made mistakes, and perhaps more than the average person.

He was kind, but curious and naive about most things not pertaining to the art of terrifying people on Halloween. Not to mention he got all the best songs in the movie. He was just incredible in every sense of the word.

Alucard from Hellsing. Who doesn't love a vampire that can't die and does things in a gory fashion?

Tony Stark. I don't need to explain why.
Actually, I think that you might have to.
because he is Iron man, he is what every nerd wants to be smart, rich and suave.
Don't forget the creator and owner of the most iconic powered suit in fiction.

EDIT: Double-quoted. Oops.
