King from Tekken (he's the only one I can remember from that game).
Of my circle of friends and roomates in college, the two best Tekken 3 players in the room were me and a guy named "Nick". Nick was the best in the room (having played a lot before we had the chance). By the time I left, the matches between he and I were pretty close, with him winning about 60% of the time.

Our best match-ups were his King Vs my Xiaoyu. I had to alter my usual tactics to account for his deadly side-step throw combos. This meant my usual high flying tactics went out the window and I had to to try to keep him at bay from the ground. Good times!
Actually, a buddy of mine, named "Adam", and I would play Soul Calibur II a lot for about a year or so after it's release. The best match-up we had was when we both picked Nightmare and we had the win-count set to 5. It would take us a good half-an-hour to declare a winner. His best, however, was nightmare. My best was Kilik or Link and he had trouble with them far more often. (Arrows are cheap in a fighting game).

[ol][li]Street Fighter Alpha: Charlie: I dunno, there's just something about his style that appeals to me.[/li]
[li]Mortal Kombat: Kung Lao: Two words: Bladed. Hat.[/li]
[li]Soul Caliber: Yoshimitsu: One word: Namuuuu. Three more words: Suicide Helicopter attack. XD[/li]
[li]Super Smash Bros: Fox McCloud: God, his Up-B was just broken in Melee. so fun.[/li]
[li]Super Smash Bros: Link: In Melee, he was ridiculously over powered. In Brawl, he's fun to play as.[/li]
[li]Soul Caliber: Raphael: Sure he's camp as hell, but he's just so fun to sp...er, play with. >.>[/li]
[li]Mortal Kombat: Motaro: I dunno, I just kicked total ass with him in MK3 for some reason.[/li][/ol]

Lei Wulong, Tekken's resident Jackie Chan homage. Solid but flashy moveset, wise-ass demeanour, entertaining endings..

The only fighting game I have ever truly enjoyed was Bloody Roar. (with extreme speed cheat on)

All the characters were fun in their own right, but I played Yugo the Wolf most.

Guilty Gear
Zappa is my absolute favorite, no contest. I love his design, his backstory, his unpredictable fighting style, the painful and creepy way he moves, his random shrieking and babbling...absolutely everything about him. :D

Slayer. His dash is a teleport, which is incredibly useful, and he's got a nice solid brawling style that's really fun to use. He also gets bonus points for just being stylish. His victory pose where he snaps his fingers is too cool for words.

Anji Mito. Mostly I just love his character design. I've got a thing for bare backs...what can I say, he's sexy. <3

Tekken
Devil. I was the first person in my group of friends to figure out his eye-laser move, and proceeded to use it to cheese the crap out of anyone who dared to challenge me.

Bloody Roar
Shina. Her fighting style is a really nice combination of flair and brutality, which I find really satisfying. She's not as pure "bash your face in" as Gado, but not as complicated as Long.

Alice. She's adorable, fun to use (though I'm better with Shina), and I have to love any character with my name. ;)

Fox. Gotta love the psycho bishes! Plus I think he's way more fun to use than his replacement in the later games, Jenny.

Soul Blade/Soul Calibur
Raphael. CHEEEEEESE. XD The first time I played Soul Calibur II in an arcade, I picked Raphael and was able to beat the entire story mode with like, three moves. Also, I haven't played SCIII much, but I'm fascinated by the direction his storyline has taken.

Mitsurugi. Again, nice solid fighting style, useful in all situations.

Evil Zone
Linedwell Rainrix. He's creepy as hell, and he likes to carve inverted pentagrams in things and stab himself with his demon sword. You may have noticed I gravitate towards the creepy dudes. XD Also, if anybody other than me has played this game, you are officially awesome.

Zero Suit Samus:

Very quick, good range, amazing vertical game. Easily my best character in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

I have only ever played SSBM, SSBB, and Street Fighter 2. I commonly used Blanka in SF2, Zelda or Dr. Mario in SSBM, and Lucas, Lucario, Zelda, Samus(I prefer Zero Suit, honestly), Fox, R.O.B., and a few others in SSBB. I enjoy characters that have good attacks at both short and long range.
