I searched for this one, because I remembered that there was a thread way back about it and I just remembered an old favorite that I wanted to add to my post. But I could find any results for it, so...

What are your favorite Foreign Films.

Mine are Red Cliffs, Brotherhood Of The Wolf, and Versus.

Oh, and this applies to everyone from every country. Doesn't matter. As long as it's foreign.

Here's a clip from Versus, since a lot of you have probably never seen it.

I don't know if it counts as a foreign film... but my favorite movie with a mostly non-american cast is Run Fatboy, Run

It's just hilarious, and Simon Pegg is an amazing actor.

The Motorcycle Diaries is my favourite. The acting is excellent, the plot works well as a film and its beautifully shot.

District B13 or in its native language Banliou 13. Awesome parkour movie staring David Belle.

Red Cliffs
I've yet to see that, though I want to badly.

I've not seen B13 yet. I need to find a copy of that as well.

As far as my favorites go, I have two: The Emperor and the Assassin, and Das Untergang/Downfall.

Not counting anime...I have fond memories of a French film called Les Compères and a Korean film called Arahan.

Kung Fu Hustle was all right, too, but I actually preferred Kung Pow: Enter the Fist.

Would that mean that, technically, The Protector was also foreign? If so, that gets my vote.

If we are talking about live action, is Taken a French movie by any chance? I heard that somewhere. If not, then Hot Fuzz.

It depends on what you mean with a foreign film of course, do you mean a film produced by a foreign producer, or one in an actual foreign language? In the first case I'd say Pan's Labyrinth. If you mean the latter I'd say Das Experiment (remade as The Experiment) and [Rec] (remade as Quarantine). I would definitely say the original versions are always much better than the English/American remakes, and I don't really see why anyone would want to see them over the original. The same goes for the rush of asian remakes btw.

*Update* I didn't even remember that Pan's Labyrinth wasn't English spoken. That would put it in the second category as well.

My favorite is probably Amelie, which is one of the most charming films ever made. There are mountains of other movies that one had to climb over, though; I really like watching foreign films.

Eagle vs. Shark, it's not very funny when you are watching it, but in retrospect, it's hilarious.
