Team Ico, definitely. Also, I just love Ubisoft games, and Square-Enix always puts a lot of attention to detail in their games.

If I had to choose one favourite, it would definitely have to be Valve. Bioware is a close second.

Ones I dislike? Again, if I had to choose one...:

Activision.

favourites:
Square Enix because i liked the new final fantasy games which apparently makes me weird,
Bioware because KOTOR was epic,
Naughty Dog because of Crash Bandicoot,
Ubisoft because of Price of Persia and Assassin's Creed.

Death list:
The sonic team (because of every sonic game since sonic 2),
EA because of every game they've ever made,
Namco because they can't acknowledge that Soul Caliber is dead!

Has to be Capcom because when they want to make a good game they always deliver.
Monster Hunter, Street Fighter, Resident Evil, Breath Of Fire, Onimusha, Lost Planet, Dead Rising, Megaman (In most of its various forms), Devil May Cry.

They give their fans what they want most of the time, (instead of what THEY think the fans want), but are not afraid to try something new.
They are usually good pickers of the games they publish.

Main hate: Activision, THQ and EA, and recently Ubisoft
Bland, uninteresting, money grabbing publishers/developers

Its a shame, as they do make good games occasionally, but they publish so much of the Shovelware we see these days.

Valve, Sierra and the (I think) now-dead Insomniac are the ones I'd call favorites.

Square is on a back and forth- I loved their Parasite Eve games, but the others I've played didn't do it for me. Square-Enix also hovers because I enjoyed FFXII and to an extent, X/X-2, but both had many annoying moments.

Same ;_; C&C, although still good, has not been the same without them!

Level 5 and Black Isle. Yes I know Black Isle's not around anymore, that doesn't mean they weren't the best.

Valve.

I'm sad with Activision at the moment, I loved the first Call of Dutys...
