Favorite games for the Nintendo DS

Title pretty much says it all, what are your favorite games for the DS and why? Right now i'm playing a lot of Proffesor Layton, and Broken Sword Shadow of the Templar's. But i'm also on a bit of a mystery kick.

As of right now it's Dragon Quest IX, it's just a big open world and I can't resist its siren call to come back and explore it, it's actually in my hand right now.

I'm having a lot of fun with Metroid Hunters and FFIII at the moment.

The World Ends with You is excellent, as many are bound to say here. Very long story, interesting characters, a genuinely unique battle system that actually requires practice to get better at, and it's just damn fun.

The only good DS game I've played so far is Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days.

Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story. I've always been a big fan of the Mario and Luigi series, and this game is simply spectacular.

definitely noticing some trends, lol. I've haven't played Ace Attorney: Trials and Tribulations but i played the sequel (?), the gameplay was great but some of the animations drove me nuts. The screen flashes to emphasize emotional moments, and after a while i felt like i was having a stroke. I'll have to check out kingdom hearts as well, its time i get on the bandwagon.

Professor Layton and the Curious Village, obviously. Some other good games are Pokemon Platinum, SoulSilver, and Scribblenauts.

Mario Kart is a good one. And again, Pokemon is great. I also played New Super Mario Bros multiplayer and it was a lot of fun.

If you liked Metroid Prime then Metroid Prime:Hunters has a really fun multiplayer.
