Dude, I'm replaying the original Golden Sun right now! It's so awesome, this is probably the billionth time I've played it...Chaos James said:Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past (Super Nintendo)

LttP I simply love, my favorite game and favorite Zelda game. Everything about it is just magical.
IoG is another one of my favorite games, I love the art, music and storyline. The combat is fun and the game just flows so nicely.
Golden Sun was the first GBA game I bought and I fell in love with it. The characters are neat, the storyline is cool, the RPG elements (like the Djinn and Psyenergy) we're really neat and it was cool to use the Psyenergy to solve puzzles and read minds and such.
But... The graphics looks exactly the same in both as far as i know ._.''Treblaine said:Because almost every game is being released on 7th gen consoles in one form or another. Oh, I see. Still, if it was ported to the 7th generation, and it WAS, then it counts as a 7th-gen game, right?
But i dont think thats a reason to classify it as a 7th gen game though, since it was originally a 6th gen game that they just wanted to put on the wii
If all these SNES games get called 7th gen games because they saw a release on Virtual Console then TRULY the entire "generations" categorisation is utterly meaningless.
That's my point.Daniel Forman said:But... If a game is first released on a 5th gen console then it will ALWAYS be a 5th gen game.
Even if it is later re-released on a 7th gen system.

'_'... you do realize Chrono Trigger first came out on the SNES, right?Same applies here, although the Nintendo DS is 4th-gen in handhelds...
Ports don't count for a current-gen game, it may be your opinion but that is a wrong one. If it was a remake you would be right, but ports are different. By that logic Halo:CE is current gen since you can buy it and play it on the 360.leet_x1337 said:So why are you quoting me, from there?Stealthygamer said:It was a PS2 game first actuallyleet_x1337 said:...I am not even going to justify that with a response past 'fanboy'.chronicfc said:I don't think so, I mean hook up the right controller then you're just really playing a GameCube.leet_x1337 said:Okami IS in the 7th generation, or don't you think the Wii is a legitimate 7th-gen console?
Also, I've been over this: In my opinion, if it was released for a current-gen console (which the Wii qualifies as), then it's a current-gen game.
I think the problem was that it was ported from the PS2 to the Wii.Gazisultima said:First of all, Okami is actually on Wii. Thought I'd point that out
And it's either Ocarina of Time, or Resident Evil 3.
