Psychonauts. One of the best games EVER.
It was one of the first "Xbox originals" on the Xbox market thing.. So it is :p
but... when I first got it, I got it on the ps2!

anyways, Super Mario World, LoZ Windwaker, and the Lion King game for the snes!

edit and Galaga! I could spend hours at one of those arcade machines and only lose about 75 cents!

Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past (Super Nintendo)
Illusion of Gaia (Super Nintendo)
Golden Sun (Gameboy Advance)

LttP I simply love, my favorite game and favorite Zelda game. Everything about it is just magical.

IoG is another one of my favorite games, I love the art, music and storyline. The combat is fun and the game just flows so nicely.

Golden Sun was the first GBA game I bought and I fell in love with it. The characters are neat, the storyline is cool, the RPG elements (like the Djinn and Psyenergy) we're really neat and it was cool to use the Psyenergy to solve puzzles and read minds and such.
Dude, I'm replaying the original Golden Sun right now! It's so awesome, this is probably the billionth time I've played it...

I'd like to add the Knights of the Old Republic games. Because they're Star Wars, and because of the characters, plot, and gameplay. So, everything. And you get to be a freaking Jedi. Or Sith.

It changes over time, depending on what I'm playing. However, right now it is Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines. Great characters, deep customization, good non-linearity (never only one way to do a quest), and a level that still freaks me the hell out. If you've played the game, you know it. If you haven't and plan to, two words of warning: Ocean Hotel.

Ugh to many.. can not compute.. TILT
Age of empires 2, shadow of the colossus, half-life 2, Lion king, Alladin, Pokemon blue, kingdom hearts 2, portal...

Okay I can not say I have one favorite game since it depends on what mood I'm in--...

My favorite is Okami, i love the combat in it, i know the new weapons you get makes the game unbalanced but its still fun to play and it has my favorite character in it, Susano, i love how he doesn't care about anything and just keeps getting dragged into it and how he finally defeats Orochi with the help of Amaterasu

EDIT: I meant 7th generation, sorry ._.''
Okami IS in the 7th generation, or don't you think the Wii is a legitimate 7th-gen console?
*sigh* you DO know it was originally on the gamecube and they just made a 100% remake for the wii =_____=
No, I didn't. I thought the only 6th-generation version was on the PS2, and that the Wii version is basically the PS2 version with easier brush-strokes and slightly harder combat. So why are you stating (incorrect) facts, then...

Oh, I see. Still, if it was ported to the 7th generation, and it WAS, then it counts as a 7th-gen game, right?
Ok, i put my hands up to that, i meant ps2, im sorry >.>
But i dont think thats a reason to classify it as a 7th gen game though, since it was originally a 6th gen game that they just wanted to put on the wii
Yeah, if you include ports then Perfect Dark is a 7th gen (rather than 5th) just because it had a re-release on XBLA.
I dont really see why not ._.
Because almost every game is being released on 7th gen consoles in one form or another. Think about all the PSOne games on PSN, all the HD re-releases, Virtual Console, you name it.

If all these SNES games get called 7th gen games because they saw a release on Virtual Console then TRULY the entire "generations" categorisation is utterly meaningless.
But... The graphics looks exactly the same in both as far as i know ._.''

That's my point.

If a game is first released on a 5th gen console then it will ALWAYS be a 5th gen game.

Even if it is later re-released on a 7th gen system.

Chrono Trigger
Myst 3: Exile
Baldur's Gate 1 & 2

I don't think any current gen games make it to my favorite games of all time list (where does Portal fall?).

I don't think so, I mean hook up the right controller then you're just really playing a GameCube.
...I am not even going to justify that with a response past 'fanboy'.
It was a PS2 game first actually
So why are you quoting me, from there?

Also, I've been over this: In my opinion, if it was released for a current-gen console (which the Wii qualifies as), then it's a current-gen game.
Ports don't count for a current-gen game, it may be your opinion but that is a wrong one. If it was a remake you would be right, but ports are different. By that logic Halo:CE is current gen since you can buy it and play it on the 360.

First of all, Okami is actually on Wii. Thought I'd point that out :p

And it's either Ocarina of Time, or Resident Evil 3.
I think the problem was that it was ported from the PS2 to the Wii.
