Daxter, easily. I dug out me PS2 the other day and found the first game. One of the best games I ever played on the system.

I'd also go with my conscience from Black and White. Not the second one, though, the first one. They just looked creepy in the second game...

Dog from Fable 2. Didn't realize how much I loved him until I tried to play the game without him.

Too true. I couldn't play without him so I started up a new (and better) game. Now I wanna play fable 2 again to see Tiberius Jefferson Puckmyer again.

Gotta give it to Luigi. He is definately my favorite sidekick, even if he has stepped out of Mario's shadow now and again.

Runner-up goes to the rest of the band from Guitar Hero II. Because no crappy band guys can stand before the awesome rock power of Clive Winston.

Wrex from Mass Effect is first, he's the only person more badass than Commander Shepard in the game.

Hk-47 from KOTOR, he's a robot that wants to kill everything! And all with a nonchalent attitude.

Black Whirlwind from Jade Empire. He's a big, drunk, psycho who kills everything he comes across.


Hmmm..... All characters from BioWare games.

I agree with all three of those,

Though the best sidekicks are the turrets in Action RPGs that would run around in front of you and kill everything before you get there.

Example: The Tesla Widgets in Mythos were awesome.
I'm so sad that they haven't put the serevrs back up for that game. TT.TT

My own vote probably has to go out to Alyx as well. She could take care of herself, she saved your ass plenty of times, and you knew she was a very real character the moment she made zombie noises in the tunnel in Episode One and you wanted to pop a cap in the *****. *hugs her*
