Crowbar was pretty kick-ass, but I am a sucker for pre-gunpowder weaponry. Of them all the spear is my personal favourite... So I suppose... Any of those...?

It's always awesome when your character uses his bare hands to dish out justice. I'm thinking Splinter Cell Conviction.
It's cliche at this point, but heck, I love it anyway. Seeing that huge sword in combat was the first time I ever looked at a weapon and said, "Wow. That's really cool."
I'm gonna go with the Frying Pan from Left 4 Dead 2. Nothing better than hearing that nice clang when bashing out a zombie's brains.
I have two the crowbar from Half-life but I'm also a sucker for the wrenchs from bio-shock and Team fortress 2
Damn, I forgot what its called, but its the buzz-saw melee weapon you get in The Pitt DLC for Fallout 3. There's a unique version of it you find which I believe is called the "Man Opener." Priceless.
The deathclaw...erm, claw. It was quite a spectacle roaming the wastland looking like Freddy Krueger (with the ghoul mask and a fedora) and making things explode into red clouds.
EDIT: Bare fists are fun, but unless you're Jet Li, I'm not sure they count as weapons. The term I've heard to describe it is "unarmed."

Swords. I love swords. All kinds of swords. Broadwords, Katanas, Cutlasses, Scimitars, Claymores, ANY kind of sword.
In terms of gaming melee weapons: Chainsaws. They were awesome in RE4, they were awesome in Madworld, they were awesome in L4D2, they are just AWESOME.

The Homewrecker in TF2. It functions both as a face smashing instrument and solves practical problems for my engineer brothers.
The Axtinguisher, from TF2. It is an axe, wrapped in barbed wire, and if you're on fire, it's a death sentence.
