Super Meat Boy (despite me having trouble and not yet finishing it). Nice slick platformer with good controls, frustration free design features and a kickass visual and audio style.

Minecraft would also qualify for all the changes in the past year, but it was my indie game of '09 so I thought I should maybe not use it twice.

I realize now that I played almost no indie games released in 2010. I guess I'll just say Chime then.

Limbo was short but very very good. Wonderfully atmospheric and very funny in a grizzly way.
Too bad though that the game changed gears after the forrest.

I really loved the giant spider and the little natives in that section. It almost felt like being on Skull Island or something. And the whole "dark foreground, light background" shows even more similarity to King Kong.

Minecraft, Super Meat Boy, Amnesia, and Cortex Command which were the only indie games i bought this year that came out this year (Other than Revenge of the Titans which was good but did not make the cut.)

Yeah, it didn't have the same appeal to me either when it went into the industrial zones. Still, I enjoyed it right to the end and only had to look up one of the puzzles on the web :)

I really like Revenge of the Titans [http://www.puppygames.net/revenge-of-the-titans/], it's pretty addictive and the graphics are cute

The last tower defense game that got me so hooked was geoDefense [http://criticalthoughtgames.com/geodefense] for the iPhone, but that probably doesn't count

I'm not going to say Minecraft. That was my favourite, but a close second was Amnesia. I'll go with that one!
