From Humane Society by Seikima-II

Those who boast of rational minds, slaughtered defenseless victims
On the sheet music made from animal skin, Requiem for the lost
Making a superficial penitence, a frantic compensation
Trading death for a life of luxury, such an 'Intelligent Beast'

From Brand New Song, also by Seikima-II

Even if you're betrayed
And you give up on Love
That isn't really love at all, can't you see?

I'm sure there are more but nothing is really occurring to me at the moment. There are some really obscene snippets I love to death like, "We just cut our wrists like cheap coupons and tell em' death was on sale today" from The Beautiful People and, I love how the last thing you hear in Damnation and a Day (And the Earth was without form and void, and Darkness was upon the face of the deep) is also the first thing you hear.

Terribly sorry for invading the thread with a foreign language, but my favourite lyrics happen to be local. I'll provide a translation.

"Merituuli hyväilee ihoasi,
katson kuinka aallot leikkivät hiljaa hiuksillasi.
Istun hitaasti vierellesi,
silitän varovasti poskeasi
ja iäisyyden
noita murskattuja kasvojasi voisin kai tuijottaa."

"The seawind caresses your skin,
I watch how the waves quietly play with your hair.
I slowly sit down next to you,
and carefully pet your cheek
And for an eternity
I guess I could stare at that crushed face of yours"

The whole album is just this one big story about a serial killer.

Anyway, they say she comes on a pale horse
but I'm sure I hear a train.

Genesis - The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway - Anyway.

Spoken or thought by Rael, the 'protagonist' of the album, as he contemplates meeting his maker. One of my all-time favourite songs.

And we said "Nay... we are but men." ROCK! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!...

Easily the best moment of the best Tenacious D song. I love singing along to it.

"May the living let us in before the dead tear us apart"
-Bruce Springsteen.

No, it's not about the zombie apocalypse, it's about how you shouldn't let people today be constrained by laws and traditions created ages ago by people who no longer exist, and how "It's tradition!" isn't a valid excuse for oppressive laws.

I don't want changes, I have no reactions, your dilemmas are my distractions.
This is one shows off the kind of the people I vehemently disapprove of and the rest of the song points out obvious problems of the world that people should at least be aware of and support fixing. There's another good line of regret of "I never looked around, never second guessed, then I read some Howard Zinn now I'm always depressed. And now I can't sleep from years of apathy all because I read a little Noam Chomsky" The years of apathy shows sometimes my and many peoples' regret for not caring about issues earlier or having false views of them prior and feeling guilty that you kind of did harm to your current beliefs and what you're fighting for now. The song is a bit dated, and has a huge liberal bias, but the message of these few lines are just bare repeating in the modern day, for a whole spectrum of issues.
