I'm quite an Apocalyptica fan, however I'm going to have to go with Whale and Wasp by Alice in Chains.

That's song's amazing and all, but:

"An instrumental is a musical composition or recording without lyrics, singing, or any other sort of vocal input; all of the music is produced by musical instruments." (Wikipedia)

Lex by Ratatat. Excellent combination of guitar and synth. Thoroughly recommend it.

I dunno I would like to say Concierto De Aranjuez...
but it does come with a lyrical version from the Ghost In The Shell 2 Innocence OST...
So maybe I'll go with Flora D'Luna...
But I also love Lilium... but... there are so many to choose from I can't pick...

"...without lyrics, singing, or..."

Also, since you're so insistent:

"2. (Mus.) Pertaining to, made by, or prepared for, an instrument, esp. a musical instrument; as, instrumental music, distinguished from vocal music. "He defended the use of instrumental music in public worship." --Macaulay. [1913 Webster]"
