Favorite Internet Forum?

Hey guys, been walking around this site and forum for a while, finally decided to post a thread. I thought, is there a better way to start than by asking people what their own personal favorite forum is? My obvious choice is this one right here, for the obvious acceptance and diversity shown every day. Also, the interesting topics and discussions.

Now, here's the twist: The Escapist CANNOT be your forum of choice. In other words, the question is:
What is your favorite forum BESIDES The Escapist?

Me, personally? I don't know. I don't travel to many forums, so I guess it's kind of hypocritical (is that the right word?) seeing as I don't have an answer.

Regardless, I still think it'd be an interesting question to ask yourself.

EDIT: Okay I just realized I visit the Bungie.net forums often, just to roll my eyes at the amount of complaining. But yea, i agree with everyone else DEFYING my rules. i can't really think of another one besides the Escapist.

You know, I'm going to be annoying and say here. I used to frequent many smaller forums but they have an annoying habit of shitting themselves and dying. A large forum like here is much more stable (and tend to have less annoying member hierachies) and this one is the only big forum I've enjoyed being on, probably because when I joined it was mid-size. Joining into a massive forum straight off the bat is weird.

Well, the Gamespot forums are fun, if only to troll. Seriously, say something bad about Call of Duty on there. It is hilarious how many fanboys will come around saying "U N33D THREE SIXTY N00B! COD BEST GAEM EVAR!"

And that was a case of accidental trolling. I can only imagine what could have happened if I was trying.

Introducing you to say the Rooster Teeth forums would be like releasing a Lamb into the heart of Africa. Someone might look after it and might take it in but chances are a lion will tear it to shreds.

Gamereplays.org by far. Best community for RTS gaming out there. Most of the best players from games like CoH, DoW2, SupCom and countless others hang out in Gamereplays (excluded starcraft since the best are Korean lol, but there are many great SC2 players in GR too). Excellent place to learn strategies and improve your skills.

Let's take a quick look at all the forums I have frequented in the past:

NSider: The old Nintendo forums where I got my start. A huge number of us left after they closed their RP forums and NSider had been shut down completely about six months later.

Gamefaqs: Never have I seen so much flaming on a single sight for no reason at all. Not really a fan.

Maiara: A personal RPing forum. Died due to inactivity.

Escapist: Where I'm currently posting. Keeps me amused at the moment.

I guess out of those, NSider used to be my favorite despite the mass exodus they caused. I had over 16 thousand posts so I guess it was the best time sink I ever had.

I havn't posted anywhere much. Other than http://freebasslessons.forumotion.com and I havn't been there for a little while. (other than logging in just for the sake of it). And even then it's a tiny forum. with the most frequent poster at about 1600 posts.

Besides, this is the prettiest forum I've seen on the interwebs (and most of the others seem to use that same ugly phpBB software).

This is the only forum I go to with any real frequency. To be honest, I don't tend to go to forums that often, this is the only site where the forums have actually engaged me enough for a relatively long period of time. So sorry OP, I am going to have to go against your rules and say "the escapist".

I used to post on Smashboards a lot, I quite enjoyed the community that existed when Brawl was about to be released, even if they were EXACTLY the type of people you'd expect them to be. I don't really frequent a lot of other forums, so I suppose for legacy reasons that'd be my top one besides the Escapist.
