My favorites are Heavy, Pyro, Medic and Scout. I find support roles to be really satisfying, but attacking the front lines with a Heavy/Pyro/Scout can be a ton of fun.

My least favorites are Demoman, Engineer, and no matter how fun it can be, Spy. I just am really, really bad with those classes.

My favorites, in order from most to least, would be Sniper, Pyro, Spy, and Medic.
My least favorite would definitely be Engineer. I get bored easily.

I like Spy unless it's one of those servers where EVERYONE is paranoid and Spy checks EVERYONE that gets within 25 feet of them.

Otherwise, I like Pyro, Medic, and Sniper.

I'm probably the best with Engineer because I'll Spy check everyone (and the air for cloaked spies) with my handgun constantly since with a Dispenser right next to me, I basically have unlimited ammo...but I don't like the class. Minutes of work can get flushed down the drain the moment a Spy turns his sights on you.

As for least favorite...I hate Soldier. Also enemy Spies, Demomen, Pyros and Snipers when I'm an Engie. D':

Favorite: Spy Least Favorite: Spy

I hate the spy because it's the class soo many people want to play but they are awful at it. Also it's a class where 3 or 4 people will all be spys and simply hinder each other by driving the other team into paranoid fits. There needs to be 1 spy, maybe 2 if they are both good and coordinate. You don't disguise as the opposite team in your own base and run over to the other base, no one buys that.

It's been a long time since I've played unfortunately.

But when I played my favorites were:
Pyro (Kill it with fire!)
Engineer
Medic (Though I would eventually get bored and hated being the only medic on my team map after map)

Least Favorite:
Soldier
Spy
Demoman

Engineer if i'm defending. Pyro if attacking. Heavy if i'm overrun. and if theres a small group of enemies holding a position and mowing my team down? Sniper. if theres a sentry shredding my team? spy.

My favorite class is the spy, mostly because it gets me thinking about player psychology. There's a sort of satisfaction when you realize you took the right steps to infiltrating the other team's defense line and disguising yourself as one of them without them knowing. There's also the advantage of being able to insta-kill anyone once you do infiltrate the other team.

My least favorite class is probably the pyro, mostly because to me he feels completely useless. He's not that great of a fighter and his main gimmick (he can set people on fire) feels useless in a short-term stance, and TF2 is a VERY fast-paced game. Yeah, you could say the same about the engineer, but you're happy when your turret saves you for the 5th time in a row. Setting people on fire just doesn't seem at all useful to me.

The pyro is great at breaking up a coordinated attack, just get the drop on a group and light them all on fire and watch them all panic and run. The spy is good at that too, back stab one of the attack and half will try and kill you and the other half will continue on. I've made soo many people waste ubers with a pyro it's silly.

Favourite: Sniper, with joint second place going to Spy and Medic.
Least Favourite: Engineer or Pyro. While I appreciate skilled teammates playing as them, I just find them both incredibly dull to play personally.

Soldier is my best class and thanks to the Tomislav, the Heavy comes a close second. I can't snipe anymore but I still love sniper. I hate spy, I suck at it terribly.

And yet again, I learn that TF2 is filled to the brim with strategy and different players who realize different strategies. It's nice to see a game that supports almost infinite strategies.

My favorites is the Heavy, Soldier, and Medic. I am mostly an offensive person, and Heavy is my best class. But I have fun being a Medic, usually because I carry the team being a Medic.

Least favorite, Engineer. It is boring, and frustrating too.
I suck the most with spy, although it is the most fun class when you do very good with it.

My favorites are:

Scout - I love running around with him using the Force'o'Nature to triple jump certain spots, which allows me in Doublecross to cap that intel so fast, I can get across and back in a flash. Plus, if we find a sentry we need to take out, I use Bonk! and then my buddy comes in as Heavy or somethin' and wrecks the sentry as it focuses on my invincible ass.

Spy - Sneaking around being invisible (using the stand-to-regenerate Watch), pretending to be enemy troops, backstabbing Snipers, Medics and Engineers, and sapping machinery is just so fun.

Pyro - <3 <3 <3 I love playing Pyro, jumping from corners burning enemies to a crisp is fun, and the flames are great for mass crowds or jumping into a fight early, light toast, then off to my next support location as my teammates finish off the remains as they burn up. Using the Flare Gun for long ranged burns is always hilarious and a great time-killer in Doublecross when you've gotta guard the flag during off-time while everyone else wants to push forward and not be a team player, XD.

Also, Airblasting projectiles back at enemies (like getting headshots with the Sniper's own Huntsman Arrow) or blasting enemies off the bridge in Doublecross, nothing gets better then Pyro for actual combat (as I'm support come Scout or Spy).

Least favorite is probably Demoman and Soilder, not much for the explody kinds, though I've played Soilder before, Demoman is my worst.

Favorite:
Demoman. Either using stickies to place traps for unsuspecting suckers or being a Demo-Knight charging, getting up close and personal with the Eyelander. Two different methods of play that I love, being a crafty little bastard trapping them with explosives defending or a guns-blazing (or swords-swinging) juggernaut while attacking.

Least:
Scout. I'm great as a Scout in capture the flag. I just can't fight as a scout. I suck with the scattergun. And I just can't hit them as any class. I suck as AND against Scouts.

I'm def one of the noobs that just picked it up since it was free. Been having a blast with it though! Love playing spy and sniper because the difficulty in mastering them is half the fun. Heavy is a good bit of fun as long as you have a competent Medic.

I'm a dime a dozen backstabbing scumbag by nature, so I naturally play Spy. As for least favorite: Medic. I hate playing support classes where I can't kill things myself.
I'll have you know I needled heavies to death through superior circle strafing. =p And I've had more than my share of bonesaw kills. In the right hands the medic has some bite. That said, I'd much rather not fight at all but sometimes some unlucky rocket or sticky will separate you from your team and you have no choice but to fight your way back to the team.

That said, I mostly play the Medic, because, well, I'm good at healing, I've mained the healing class across five different games by now and have always been pretty competent at it. And I find it ultimately very rewarding to know an offence succeeded because I was backing them with my medigun, and then triggering an Übercharge at the right moment on the right teammate.

Second most played class is the Pyro, I just love playing Pyro, running around and flanking unaware enemies, setting them all on fire and disappearing back into the shadows as they pat down the flames and scramble for healthpacks. And I adore how versatile she is, on top of being a great ambusher when deep behind enemy lines she can also be useful among teammates, from checking for spies to destroying sappers with the homewrecker, to keeping allies safe from rockets, grenades, sticky bombs, flares, arrows, baseballs and jars of piss with the power of the airblast. And it is deeply satisfying when you can turn the rockets of a kritzkrieged soldier against his own team, turning their push into a mad scramble for safety as their friends are reduced to gibs, mwahahaha~ *cough* But yeah, speedy, stealthy, versatile, what's no to like?

After that, well, I've clocked over 50 hours with every other class, and I enjoy them all to some degree. But at the end of the day I more often than not pick the class the team needs the most rather than the one I want to play, well, except for times where I simply want to have fun for myself rather than being credit to team above all else. So yeah, unsurprisingly my top 4 in hours played are: Medic, Pyro, Soldier, Engineer.

My favorite is the medic.

Just heal, uber, kritz, no matter what, you're contributing. You're always supporting your team, even if you aren't doing too well. The epitome of a team class.

My least favorite is the engineer.

Because I suck at engineer.
