SCOUT <3.

To me the most fun class, and the one I am best at, followed closely by the sniper.

Least favourite to play is Spy, I ADORE watching a good spy do their work and they are hard to match when you have a real good player as your Spy but playing it myself isn't my style.

Favorite: Scout! Gimme back my fast-as-hell Quake style shooters!

Least favorite: Pyro. Because DERP W+M1! Nah, just don't like the style.

Honorable mention: Engineer. Camping with a wrench!

Favorite - Spy. I considered myself a good Spy. Then watched omfgninja tutorials and thought HOLY CRAP such a difference of skill. So many tricks you can pull off and so many secrets to be discovered.

Least favorite - Pyro. I don't like to jump on bandwagons, but W + M1 is what describes 90% of people playing Pyro in pubs. The only redeeming quality about this class is the airblast that can be used to juggle a Medic/Heavy combo for the entire duration of an uber.

i go through phases in what i play primarily but my favs have got to be soldier, medic, and heavy, i can play engie, demo, sniper, and pyro fairly well but i always find myself playing soldier after a bit. I cannot play spy, i just ant get the hang of it and always die. only like 2 kills with spy, i just get mad. and scout is hard for me too, i hate the low health and i cant outmaneuver other players very well.

Fav: Cuttently scout, but changes every other day
hate: soldier, because I think he's too slow for his class. Heavy is fine, he's not supposed to be fast.

Favourite?

Hmm, probably Heavy / Pyro. I love me some guns I dont have to aim to hit a target with.

LEast favourite? Spy - I ALWAYS, ALWAYS, get killed within approx. 0.5 seconds of seeing an enemy.

My favorites are:
1. Sniper. I love kinda venturing off by myself and sowing fear in the hearts of... er... at least one person until I get a kill and then they see me in killcam and come kill me... but whatever!
2. Scout. The only thing that beats taking the enemy by surprise from afar is taking them by surprise up-close. I'm pretty good at hit-and-run and I'm decent at dodging stuff too, so Scout comes kinda naturally for me.
3. Pyro. Come on, who doesn't like Pyro?

Least favorite:
Medic. Don't get me wrong, I know they're important, but I dislike the whole direct support thing. I'd much rather be off in some alcove distracting people so that our main force can do their job.

Favourite: Scout. I just love being a speedy ball of death, in and out before they ever catch me.

Least favourite: Demoman. Probably a ping issue more than anything, my internet is terrible, so having no hitscan weapon is a huge disadvantage, and I can never compensate the same I could for Soldier. I'm just a terrible demo.

Favorites: Pyro and Sniper. I usually suck as sniper, but every once in a while get 10 headshots in a row or some other crazy thing.

The unfavorite: Heavy. I can win easier if I go heavy, but being that slow just bores the crap outa me.

In order from most favorite to least;

Sniper: I am just awesome with Snipers, if I do say so myself. Nothing like getting 4 headshots in a row due to noobie Snipers/Engies.

Spy: I'm not too good with the spy, but when I'm on a role, I'm on a role. Usually in quick backstabbing bursts.

Scout: I do enjoy running around with this class at times.

Medic: I only play as him when there is a severe lack of them on the map, but I do enjoy being in the support role every so often.

Demoman: Not particularly good at them, but occasionally I like going Demoknight for my own amusement.

Soldier: Just a bit too boring for me. I always feel like I would prefer an assault rifle instead of a rocket launcher for him, though that would be odd in TF2.

Heavy: His play style is a bit too simple for me, but every now and again he's fun to play as. Got, like, 28 points in one life when I stood on top of the payload cart, nearly got the final terminus. It was glorious.

Pyros: Never was too good with them. The whole "W+M1" strategy does not work for me as I am always just out of range for my flamethrower and no matter what I do, even if I light them up for 4 seconds, they still somehow survive.

Engineers: Again, I only really play them when we need a teleporter, but I just cannot seem to land any kills with my sentries. Bit too much of a defensive and boring class for me.

I think the reason they opted for a rocket launcher instead of a assault rifle was to reduce the 'Call-of-Duty' factor. In TF2, there is no mobile, accurate automatic weapon, basically meaning that combat relies more on positioning as you attempt to maneuver your team into a closer kill range. Simply put, mid and long range combat is almost non-existent in TF2 (unless you're the sniper), unlike in CoD, where popping your head out for an instant a hundred meters away means death from the numerous accurate, automatic firearms.

My favorite class would have to be the Pyro. There's just something satisfying about sneaking up behind a group of enemies and setting them all ablaze. That and I find them VERY effective against spies.

My least favorite class would be the Demoman. Don't get me wrong he has his uses, especially in Payload games in which you place sticky bombs all around the bomb cart and blow up unsuspecting victims. But I also find it very annoying having to fight anyone who is playing as one. ESPECIALLY if you're a regular Pyro user like myself. Not only can he blow me up from afar with his grenade launcher or sticky bombs, but he can also one shot me with that charging sword attack at close range. (Not sure what that is, I don't play as him often.) Plus I can't seem to hit anything with his grenade launcher.

So far (I'm a F2P nub) I'm liking the Heavy, Engineer, and Demoman. They're accessible + powerful, and seem to rely more on tactics than on twitch ability and familiarity with the controls. I can't get into Spy or Sniper - they just seem really finicky and situational to me. But I've been playing with or against people who are actually good at them and those people can absolutely wreck everything, so it's probably just a learning curve thing.

I like Soldier and Pyro the most and my least favorite to play as is Spy. I?m just really bad at spy and I?m not interested enough to learn how to do it properly.

I used to like Engineer but I can no longer be arsed messing around with all the buildings.
