Same here. Some of my friends give me weird looks, but the music (especially all the new versions of old songs), level design, and controls are just amazing.

First game I ever beat was the original Super Mario Bros. on the NES and it remains my favorite game in the series. Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door is right up there, though.
