Favorite Mass Effect 2 squad selection

With my Infiltraitor class, i love to take Thane and Archangel or Legion--total sniper mania! When it comes to soldier or vanguard, i usually take Grunt with his Claymore shotgun and Legion with his Widow Sniper Rifle.

What do you like to do? does it reflect your class or do you just take who you like?

I played as a Vanguard and had a somewhat rotatey roster involving Mordin, Miranda, and Garrus (Although I dropped him for Legion, but I only had him for two missions)

I was a soldier and I liked to use Garrus and Mordin. Although I found myself using everyone in ME2, I liked all of the characters in the crew. I haven't found many games where I liked all of the characters in my group like I did in ME2.

krogan smash time! me1 i always had wrex in my group. me2 i swapped it up a lot more still used grunt a good bit but he did not quite have the personality of wrex. only one i seldom used was jack just because i did not like her attitude.

garrus is awsome on the last mission i think he is the only one of the crew that wants to keep that ship. which makes me worry about garrus lol.

I play as Sentinel, and I generally roll with Mordin and Grunt. Mordin I use for his incinerate, though he's not very good in combat, but that's where Grunt comes in.

Legion and Mr Assassin i was a soldier, sometimes have Grunt or archangel istead but aminly just those first 2

Tali and Garrus, just for old times sake.

Tali is relatively useless on any non geth related mission, but Baldur's Gate references make up for it.

On impossible was usually Mordin and Miranda tho, damn armour/barriers everywhere...

I just clicked randomly. I didn't need my worthless-ass teammates anyway. They died too much. Mordin and Legion were the only decent ones till Kasumi came out with the flashbang.

Either Garrus+Tali for kicking it old school or Garrus+Zaeed for Assault Rifle/Sniper Rifle awesomeness.

Also Tali+Legion because having a Geth and Quarian fighting side by side is :3

As an Infiltrator, I find Jack/Samara and Grunt to be a potent combination: a good mix of biotics and solid frontline muscle, the two things which the class lacks. Playing on normal as a soldier though, I just took whoever I felt like using.

I try to role-play it based on who my Shepard would take with him/her (usually her)

For example, since my Shepard always likes Tali, she goes in the party all the time. Except the one time I played renegade, so she stayed home.

Apart from that, I had one MaleShep who took Tali and Miranda, since he was trying to get into Miranda's pants and wanted more opportunities to talk to her.

One FemShep who took Tali and Garrus, because she was trying desperately to hold onto the past (which made bumping into Liara fun)

And one FemShep who took Tali and whoever would be most suited to the third position based on the mission at hand, because she was a professional and saw her team as tools for a job, and you shouldn't try to force someone into a position they can't work in. (Generally this worked out as Tali, Infiltrator Shepard and then one of Grunt, Jack, Samara or Legion) Tali took engineer spot, Shep took sniper, and the third took supporting fire and biotic support.

I just sat back and collected headshots.

I play as the mage Adept and liked taking Mordin and Thane along with me. Though I also would switch Thane out for Miranda or Grunt if I wanted to mix it up a bit.

In both games I played as a Vanguard (biotic/soldier hybrid).

In ME1 I started out using Wrex and Tali for a nice balance of skills. I later swapped Tali for Liara for an all-out biotic approach. Subsequently, most enemies spent more time helplessly floating about then they did fighting.

In ME2 I mostly took Grunt for a bit of close range savagery and Garrus for long range cover. Later on I swapped Grunt for Tali because of her AI hacking ability. And because she was cool. When combined with my own dominate ability, this meant I could sit behind cover and take a nap while enemies busily killed one another.

I played as a Soldier and my favorite was and still is Legion and Tali. I thought I was invincible with them at my side until I Legion died (that pissed me off).
