Fuckin' thrash metal!

Although I also love metalcore, but some people disagree that it's actually metal. Personally, I think it is.

Obviously it's quite subjective, but I think of them as Battle Metal. Awesome band.
For me it's Power Metal, Edguy, Avantasia, Jorn, Allen/Lande, Iced Earth, Dream Evil, Dio (kinda), Dragonforce, you get the idea.

Well, most of what I listen to is 80s heavy metal, but conceptually I'm more fond of melodic death metal. In my early adulthood I was more into industrial metal, though... it's all very complicated.

Avant-garde metal needs more love.

I have been Spreading the word of Unexpect for a good 2 yeas now, they are fantastic.

My subgenres? I don't know, I don't like to think in genres, but I guess that I like Death and Progressive Metal most.

Stoner Rock - Stoner Metal

And I would't mind a bit of Sludge or Doom in there either.

Thrash metal, death metal and grindcore are my favourites, but I'll try everything once (except emo/pop punk etc). Inb4 "grind is punk derived, not metal", I'm counting it anyway. Add me, random metal gamers.

I sample from a few genres, but pretty much anything without screaming, growling, or singing like you just got kicked in the balls (power metal, symphonic metal, etc).

I tolerate the occasional scream, but screaming every word is like typing in all caps, I hate it.

I've got the folk thing down; industrial, thrash and death tying for 2nd place. Melodeath can suck my hot dog baguette.

Devin's amazing too
