I liked Iron Man 3 more than I did Avengers, the Manderin-twist was great, it was just the stupid comic-fanboys that had to rage

Top pick:
Flash Gordon. It was so utterly ridiculous that I honestly have no idea whether its comedy was even intentional or not, but I lost my shit time after time. Best laugh I've had in years.

Honourable mention:
Conan the Barbarian. Similar reasoning, but this time I'm pretty sure the comedy is unintentional - a product of simply being old, and having aged badly. Which doesn't change the fact that it's hilarious.

I really like Arrow, and have a friend who I know would likely never speak to me again if I said I liked it. I think the difference between me and them is that my experience with Green Arrow is Rise of Arsenal, while they are a big fan of the conecpt in general. I come in on a monday to hear "Why is slade australian" "Why is Ollie's mother alive" "Why doesn't Black Canary have her Sonic Scream". Maybe I should show her the new episode of the Big Picture.

K-on is a big one. I really enjoy K-on, which most people seem to view as the show that single handedly killed the anime industry. However I don't think K-on counts. I really don't think most people hate K-on. I understand how someone could be bored by it since humour is subjective, but there is nothing offensive or insulting about it. What I'm saying in a broader sense is this - people don't hate K-ON, heck most of them probably haven't even seen it, what they hate is how K-on affected the medium by creating a massive amount of copycat series which mostly ranged from bad to terrible.

I don't hate Final Fantasy 13. I enjoy Final Fantasy but I have always had a lot of problems with the series, so to me most of the hate surrounding FF13 jsut confused me because I remember it being in the other games aswell. The combat in Final Fantasy games has never been all that exiting and I respect that they tried something different rather than sticking to an established formula, the stories - even the best of them like 6 and 7 - have always been filled with anime tropes and I had to use more strategy playing FF13 than I did playing Final Fantasy 5. I'm not saying it's a good game by any means, its incredibly flawed. But I do think the hate towards it being one of the worst games ever made is incredibly over-exagerated.

The Last Samurai

I resisted it to the end, but it's a very well done movie, even if Tom Cruise was the last samurai... Well, that part's debatable. But he didn't ruin the movie, and there was no section in that movie I disliked.

I'm one of those few rare and odd people who saw Eragon [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eragon_%28film%29] before getting into the book series, and you know what?

I liked it. I shouldn't, but I do.

I really can't put on finger on specifically why, though. Sure, after I saw the movie I started reading the novels and noticed the rather blatant differences between the film and the book (Saphira aging in the span of seconds up in the clouds? WHAT?!), but by itself, and without and previous bias, I thought it was alright. Now of course, I understand why there will never be a sequel to that movie seeing how much they screwed it up, but at the time, I thought it was great, and still think it is a pretty good movie.

An unpopular opinion, but one nonetheless.

Matrix sequels, specifically Revolutions, which I thought was a really solid conclusion to the trilogy and looked visually incredible. I'm probably the only person in this world who not only doesn't hate it, but actually enjoyed quite a bit and even experienced it in IMAX when it first came out.

I love the movie Zombie Strippers in a completely unironic way.

Also, I think Earth Defense Force Insect Armageddon is one of the best coop games on the current gen consoles.

The Room - No joke... I enjoy this movie un-ironically... (I blame Adult Swim for showcasing it more than once on April Fool's Day...)

Hyperdimension Neptunia - Just because I have a very perverted mind does not mean that's even a reason why I enjoy this game... and the rest of the series...

Sharknado - Another movie I un-ironically enjoy... (Also, NC and Brad... What do you have against Mythbusters?)

Nicktoons Unite! - The is the best proper sequel to the first "Jimmy/Timmy Power Hour"... (Don't ruin this for me...)

Actually, I have two TV shows (well, one's more of a series of movie specials, but whatever) that I wan to add on this list (mainly due to their overall length):

Glee - I can tolerate most of the mainstream music that's being covered on the show... and how it passed three seasons witht he forth season being both a restart and an aftermath simultaneously... But, dammit, the feud between Will and Sue is just too good to not watch...

Monster High - Yes, I know Ever After High is better (and I watch that too online), but I'm choosing this because it's technically shown as straight-to-DVD movies... that Nickelodeon would show only once or twice...

The Matrix Reloaded. As a kid I didn't get it but watched it again a couple of years back and really enjoyed it. It's just hard to follow if you're not into philosophy.

I'm not into philosophy, well not big time anyway. Still enjoyed the entire matrix trilogy. Reloaded was the weakest, but I still got it. I even generally understood the architech's speech (save for the part about previous matrix's which was dropped from the plot entirely so... why bring it up?).

Digimon.

Well, that's a bit of a loaded answer. But the English dub of the first two seasons is legitimately awful, plus it just seems rather low-budget in many areas in general, and yet I still love it. Partly for the nostalgia, partly for the absolute hilarity of how bad the extra puns and quips they added in can get. The third season is actually pretty good from what I've watched so far, though (I saw a bit of it when I was younger, but never really followed it even as much as the rare times I saw episodes from the first two seasons); Much better English dub along with overall higher production values and vastly improved pacing. I still quite like the 'films' associated with the first two seasons though, even without the filter of nostalgia and punny goodness.
Wait a minute!
You should like Digimon Tamers (aka Season3), because it's fricking amazing
I couldn't care less about Digimon (pre- and post-Tamers), but Tamers is one of the few animes I occasionally re-watch
Especially last story arc with Jerry... that was unexpected O_O

Yeah, I've been watching it lately.

It's shocking how much better it is overall than the first two seasons just by virtue of the script being less heavily-edited from the original Japanese version. Doesn't hurt that the original writer was the guy behind Serial Experiments Lain, either. That was an exercise and a half in mind-fuckery.

The movie The Pest. Yes, it's super annoying but it reminds me of being little and it was just cute. Gotta love a telling of The Most Dangerous Game with the main hunted being such an annoying little shit.

I'm sure there's about a thousand games and movies I shouldn't like but I think The Pest might be among the most annoying.

That explains a thing or two- because that season often goes into dark places
Funny, but I've heard most fans of Digimon do not like Tamers :/

It was a pretty drastic departure thematically. I can't really speak for my younger self on that point, though, because I wasn't too concerned with the stories or plotlines back then anyway; I just wanted to see cool-looking monsters duking it out. I suppose I had more fond attachment to the first two seasons at the time just because they were really wacky and silly.

But then, I never caught the episodes of any of the three seasons on a regular basis back when they were originally airing. Saturday morning cartoons was about the only time I ever had to catch up on television shows back then.

Hmm I think this question would have been more relevant for me a few years ago. I've recently adopted an attitude of "I don't recall asking you to like it". If I enjoy something and it's relevant to the topic I might mention it regardless of how said thing is regarded.

I liked Zelda :Twilight Princess more than Ocarina of Time and I really didn't like Majora's Mask. This opinion seems confuse and infuriate people.

The DOA franchise...including the two 'volleyball' games and 'DOA Paradise'.
The funny part is that I can enjoy them because I am so completely unconcerned with breasts that I actually didn't notice the excessive/unnatural jiggle physics until they were pointed out to me...I was too busy looking at the pretty midriffs, legs, faces and hair of the female characters.

Oddly related I love the anime Rio: Rainbow Gate...it's silly but I love the humor in it, and I don't mind a show that's 90% fan-service once in a while.

Apperently people hate when i say i actually like JJ Abrams and M. Night Shyamalan. oh well haters gona hate.
Digimons were always superior thank that Animal abusing pokemons.

ALso it seems that people look down on you if you enjoyed F.E.A.R. or Crysis. because omg why you like shooters.

ALso Mafia is one of the best games out there and not just a cheap GTA clone, alright?

I also liked Indigo Prophecy, and not because emoshions.

TRue Crime games are also quite enjoyable, especially more refined second one. However people seem to hate the first two and only like Sleeping Dogs (which is basically True Crime 3)
