Alternative Rock/Grunge

I'm also a slight fan of classic music... Only Greig and Bach, though!

Metal, in all of its face-melting, head-bangingly wonderful forms.

Oh, also, rock, folk, classical, symphonic, blues, funk and jazz. Yeah, I like a bit of variety to spice up my otherwise metal-filled day.

I mostly listen to Folk metal (bands like Fejd, Glittertind, Storm and Eluveitie), Viking Metal (bands like Tyr, Amon Amarth, Thyrfing, Nomans land, Turisas and Arkona) and Melodic/Norwegian Black Metal (bands like Catamenia, Windir, Månesorg, old Dimmu borgir, Old mans child and such)

There is also some melodic death metal bands I like too, like Ex Deo.

So in short I moslty listen to metal.

I listen to almost anything. But if we have to get into genres, then I say Psychadelic Rock/Metal.

Ska, Prog Rock, and Symphonic Metal are my typical favorites, though I've got an on-and-off with Industrial, Psytrance, Electronic Ambient/Downtempo, and Celtic/Irish Rebel.

Truth be told, though, I'll listen to anything that isn't Pop, Rap, or Gospel. It depends on my mood.

Kinda changes by day or even in a matter of hours. Today I've had Spor - Molehill stuck on repeat. Tomorrow it could be anything ranging from Dismember to Nick Drake to Phoenix Effect to Hans Zimmer to Ophidian. Whatever I feel like when I get up. Honestly can't bother to keep track of all the 1-band-genres these days.

While I consider all forms of metal to be enjoyable, I'm gonna go with black metal.

Mirrorthrone, Triptykon, Fell Voices, The Ruins of Beverast, Anaal Nathrakh, Nivathe, Nokturnal Mortum, Unholy Matrimony, Xasthur.

I have yet to find a genre I dislike. Just certain artists in the genre. However, my favorite, hands down, is Progressive. Both Prog Rock and Prog metal. I love it.

Here's a sample for ya (any excuse to share the love):

For every new person I get to like Closure In Moscow, the happier I am, because they deserve A LOT more exposure.

there's a lot of music I listen to. Most of what I listen to is as follows: Children of Bodom, Eyes of Noctum, TooL, Mudvayne, Nine Inch Nails, Fleetwood Mac, Lorena McKennitt, Delerium, Aphex Twin, Flogging Molly, Dropkick Murphys, Dethklok, Alice in Chains, Cyndi Lauper, Depeche Mode, KMFDM, Lords of Acid, Type O Negative (RIP Peter Steele), Pantera and DamagePlan (RIP Dime), HELLYEAH, Filter, D12, NWA, Outkast, KoRn (older stuff before Head went Christian), Rammstein, Washed in Blood [local band](RIP Steven DeAtley), Dead in Bed [also local]... And thats a sample. I can't list everything, I don't have the time to type all that and I don't need a teal deer post

Pretty much anything which can be related to rock and i especially like nirvana, but hey who doesn't. Nirvana isn't my favorite band though but picking a favourite band or song is tough very very tough, i can try though but it'll because i will think about bands all the day long so i'm just going to keep it to nirvana and the police

Oh, and recently, loads of Dragonforce!!!

and just to confuse everything, I really love Fleetwood Mac [not so much Peter Green, the Buckingham-Knicks stuff]
