Electronic.I only like some of it, especially Daft Punk. I also love the DJ Hero mixes.
Trip-Hop/Hip-Hop/Rap/Pop/Electronic. I decided to put all of these in to express my love for the work of Gorillaz.
Power Metal. Rhapsody and Luca Turilli.
Alternative. Nothing like a good dosage of Coldplay.
Some Pop. Some of Justin Bieber's works and some of Lady Ga Ga's works. I also love Selena Gomez's songs.

It's kinda random: Punk, psychobilly, opera, ska, some folk, dark cabaret, some metal, big band, anime and video game original soundtracks, and traditional pop (as in Louis Armstrong or the Inkspots).

It varies a lot. I like Rock and Metal though.

Actually, I just found this the other day, and since it's a thread about music, thought I'd share.

I listen to heavy and offensive music mostly. lol. Of course scene kids and now indy kids think they own the metal genre, but I refuse to believe they're more than helpful cash cows to the industry.

Example. =]

Seriously?

Nice

What's your favourite band?

OP: Ummm

I love rock 'n' roll (the 50's - 60's type), like the OP, Irish rebel music.

I like a bit of pretty much everything though.

I've a few favorites, as with Irish music in general, the same song sung by different artists tends to make some good with some and not so great with others.

Although I have a few, for the sake of Ronnie Drew, may he rest in peace, Dubliners will always be on top. That being said Saoirse is fairly decent along with Eire Og, Wolfe Tones and Justice. But there's also a lot of very decent bands out there in pubs that don't really have a name so.. it's just difficult to name a favorite.

My favourite is eiher the Wolfe tones or the dubliners.

Got a playlist on spotify with quite a few of each bands songs in it.

Yes, if it is metal then I am a genre nazi. I can almost always identify if the band is playing any of the genres I listed above.

Therefore I can't really be sure about the sub-genres of death, black and doom metal.

I like Folk, psychedelic rock, blues, and funk. I usually listen to older music. As far as newer stuff goes I'm just finding what I really like today and that seems to be and alternative hip-hop mostly and a little alternative rock.

How could I forget, progressive rock. I just saw Rush in concert last week in Boston.

Haha! Not surprising, they've done a magnitude of songs throughout their careers.
