Ehm... I never really watched the show, but I did like one character from the games. The kind of big guy with a black jumpsuit on, with horn like things on his head, and purple face paint, who controls a puppet. I think his name starts with an 'M'...

Every single one of the Akatsuki, they were incredibly powerful, extremely badass and despite the fact that quite a lot of them have passed on. They knew how to get the job done, they were talented ninjas.
My personal favourite member of the Akatsuki, I found his foul mouth, to be quite funny. (Not sure why)
I wish the show would explain more about this character, I would like to see a bit more background on him, like where he's from and what he is exactly. I mean did he always look like that, or was he once human?

Though I've fallen out of the series over the past few years, I still enjoy Rock Lee. He doesn't need any flashy tricks, and as a results comes off as much more of a martial artist than others.
I'll be open and admit I'm not a Naruto fan, but even I have a soft spot for Kakashi. He always seemed to be the coolest on the show and in the manga back when I watched/read it respectively, and his tilted hachimaki in place of say, an eyepatch, is just badass.

I liked Jiraiya. A codgedy old man, a major pervery he always makes me laugh. Not only that but he was awesome. Shame.
