What are your guys favorite Oblivion mods? Explain what they are so then others if they like the sound of them can download them. :)

I havent found a favorite myself, I have found some cool ones but none are my favorite. :S I like the Elsweyr the Deserts of Anequina but for some reason, despite it making the bottum of the map area a desert, while you are in the desert, if you look in the distance the landscape is still normal trees and grass but isnt when you get close.

I have so many really and it has been awhile since I played it so I don't know really. Deadly Reflexes and the Landscape mod with Stendarr Valley and stuff is good.

Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul [http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=15256]

What it does is overhaul Oblivion, fixing the "enemies level up with you" thing and just adding so much more life to the game. Caves and Ruins now potentially have little side missions in them, they also now have some really good loot. It also adds new monsters and stuff which is always fun.

I also love Deadly Reflex [http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=8273]

After playing with Deadly Reflex, there's no way I'm going back to Oblivion's old combat system.

Also, I think it goes without saying that the Unofficial Oblivion Patch [http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5296] is a godsend.
Also, I like Better Letters [http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5392]. It makes all the letters and notes in the world much more interesting.
I also enjoy Loading Screen Quotes [http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5890]. It replaces the loading screen text with quotes from famous people. I like it.

Also, found a link to the mod you were talking about.

Elsweyr the Deserts of Anequina [http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=25023]

Its a great mod, and adds the province of Elsweyr to the game. It adds its cities as well, but last time I played only half were finished. But that was 6 months or so ago, so things most likely have changed.

I quite like a few of the companion mods. I...er...*cough* downloaded a few companions and made a little harem of female NPC's following me around. It was really helpful when you go somewhere particularly dangerous and you get a few extra sword arms (I missed having a party also - thanks to re-installing Oblivion after playing a few Bioware RPG's)

The one where you can tell the gaurds that the annoying fan did it and they will attack him instead. That one is really useful.

FCOM: Convergence, I love all the mods in it, but you can't run them together without FCOM.

I'm a big fan of BananaSplit's Better Cities mod.

Requires a bit of know-how to install, however.

It's a mirage!

I really liked spells of arum (MidasSpells) it really opens up the magic system in some inventive ways.

I like anything that fixes arrows so that they have more range then throwing a pen at the enemy.

I also like SPAM, to remove the need to micromanage skills to get appropriate attribute raises

I also like Ayeleid Well, which basically turns finding Ayeleid Wells into a "Collect them all" Meta game, to get an increasing permanent boost to Magicka

Also, the nude mods ftw.

It allows you to go to Morrowind. In Oblivion. Morroblivion.

Francesco's Leveled Creatures and Items

I prefer it over OOO because it changes less and fixes the creature and armour levels. Higher level armour is rare but there will be boss types that have better loot.

LAME(Less Annoying Magic Experience)

Gives all original spells ranked names to make them easier to find(RRH1: Minor Heal = Restoration Restore Health 1: Minor Heal) and changes effects of every magic object and spell, mainly increasing the duration of buffs and reducing the power of enchantments like chameleon. It even allows you to start with specific spell sets.

Let's see I'm using the alternate start mod [http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3973]: let's you choose between starting the game normally or choosing to start the game dirt poor in a cave , poor with a cheap house, middle-class with an ok house, or stinking rich with a big house, or alternatively start the game like morrowind which means you arrive by boat, and the main quest can be started by finding a dead soldiers body by an aleyid well near weynon priory(took me forever to find him).

The Keychain mod [http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3409] (consolidates all those keys into one icon so you don't have a billion keys in your inventory after several hours of gameplay.)

The aforementioned OOO mod.

The no psychic guard mod [http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=11911]: which reduces the radius at which guards are alerted to your misdeeds.

The Oil Lamp mod [http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=32265] (replaces the torch and never runs out of fuel)

The Thief addon mod which adds various items from the thief games life water arrows and such for better thievery.

The Undercover mod [http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=19913]: lets you go undetected by enemies as long as your wearing the same uniform as they are.

Harvest Containers [http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3979] (helps with identifying which boxes and barrels you've already searched.

And the Ultimate 3rd person camera [http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=29942]( changes first person view to a 3rd person over-the-shoulderish camera. I like it so far.
