Favorite Old Escapist Series

Remember "Top 5"?, "Unforgotten Realms"? My question to you, in honor of 7 years of awesome is what is your favorite video series of Escapist's yester-year.

Mine has to be There Will Be Brawl. It was an awesome kick ass murder story featuring SSBB characters. The last episode with "Peach" was way to cool, and very high production for an independent internet series.

"Top 5" ended up growing on me by the time it reached its conclusion. I was sad to see it put on hiatus and eventually "archived."

Helps that it's the only Escapist series I've ever watched.

There will be Brawl is the best live action series this site has seen in my opinion.

Doraleous and Associates was my favorite animated feature here but due to events beyond our control it has left us...

Apocalypse lane was pretty swell.

Doomsday Arcade is still my favourite series the site has shown. It is also the only series here that has resulted in me subscribing to his YouTube channel and watching his other clips.

I don't really have one. All the shows that they have stopped producing over the years have been kinda weak. I never could get into There Will Be Brawl though.

I was going to say Extra Credits but all they did was talk about how games are art again and again and again and again.......... and again.

I miss Doomsday Arcade though that came to a suitable end. Also I loved Doraleous and Associates, not sure why its stopped actually.

Edit: OK so they seemed to of removed every D&A video from the Escapist. Thats kinda weird.

There Will Be Brawl was one of my favorites for sure. Top 5 was pretty fun as well.

I did like Extra Credits when it was on, and I still subscribe to their Youtube. It's not that entertaining, but it's interesting stuff.
I watched Unforgotten Realms before I knew of the Escapist, as I believe I watched it on his website, and then some of the latter episodes showed up here, before it stopped. It was meh.

And then.. Doralingus? "DORALEOUS-MY NAME IS DORALEOUS!" and his associates

Extra Credits, that show is still great, now I just need to go to penny arcade to watch it.

It's a tie between Doomsday Arcade and Apocalypse Lane. Both were really, really awesome, with the former being a rather grim but also funny imagining of our creations coming back to break us down a notch, while the former was just a great series with one of the best endings for a series I can think of.

nope, he is not at all talking how games are art.
his show is very educational for game developers and designers.
however if you are not one of these groups, you may imagined he was talking about how games are art again ang again and again and again and again.

Extra Credits I guess. I enjoyed it when it was on the Escapist but once they left I never bothered to follow them. It just wasn't the same.

I also liked There Will Be Brawl. Awesome series, but quite terrifying at times. Especially the ending. *shudder*
