I've had pizza in Napoli (Naples), the birthplace of pizza.... and to be honest I thought it was pretty bad. It's basically a big wet sloppy mess. And very skimpy on the actual ingredients - my "margherita" came with a single piece of basil in the middle of the pizza, barely any cheese and barely any fresh tomato. It was ridiculous, and I had a few there before I had to stop, I'm not a glutton for self-inflicted pain.
So a Western version pizza, thin base, wood-fired oven, margherita if it's done really well, otherwise I've had some excellent hot & spicy / Mexican pizzas... basically pepperoni, chilli, tomato base, you can put kalamata olives in there, some onion too.
