The Longest Journey, to me, is the epitome of the genre. I haven't played a finer example yet, though Phoenix Wright is darn fun.

Monty Pythons Quest for the Holy Grail game of the movie!

It had some parts which werent always point and click (Im not dead tetris game) and it may have been for the most part a direct rip from the movie, with basic interactivity, but it was still a great laugh.

Huh. I've not heard of this, I'll have to look it up. The only Monty Python game I know is that old, platformer one where you play a head transposed onto a fish, which I've never liked since it's so bloody hard and I always get killed within the first few screens.

Ooh, one that not many will remember:

Callahan's Crosstime Saloon. That game was genius - heartfully recommended for anyone who likes Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy... and puns. Many puns.
