Ok I'll share my favourites.

Normal:Snorlax
Fighting:Machamp
Flying:Braviary
Poisonrapion. A nice litte type matchup of poison/dark so I only have ground to worry about and even then he has attacks such as ice fang.
Ground:Swampert. I just can't hate him, he hits hard as a nice list of moves to choose from and sure he has problems, what Pokemon doesn't? But do you know what isn't one of his problems, thunderbolt.
Rock:This is a tough one, I never really was a fan of the rock type, but if I had to choose, Kabutops.
Bug:Vespiquen. Also speaking of bug types does anyone else think that Aaron of the Sinnoh Elite four made this type stand out more. At first I was like meh bugs, but after facing him, holy shit bugs are awesome.
Ghost: Froslass one of my key battlers in the battle subway, I let it sweep as much as possible and when it gets on red health, its time for destiny bond.
Steel:Magnezone
Fire:Ninetales, just Ninetales also it's the first pokemon that I tried ev training on. Modest nature, with calm mind, extrasensory, heatwave and energy ball.
Water: No contest in this choice, Milotic I fucking love Milotic.
Grass:Roserade. Its special attack stat, is insane.
Electric:Luxray.
Psychic:Gallade. I can see why Lucian of the elite four uses him, in Plantium he kicks ass.
Ice:Lapras
Dragon:Garchomp. Its slow to level, but worth it.
Dark:Hydreigon. Its even slower to level but like Garchomp totally worth it.

Favourite Gen 1:Ninetales
Favourite Gen 2:Espeon (although he isn't on the type list, he's still my favourite gen 2 pokemon.
Favourite Gen 3:Milotic
Favourite Gen 4:Gallade
Favourite Gen 5: Hydreigon

Overall number one Pokemon.

Yeah, Arceus' default type is normal. Tornadus is the only natural pure flying type in pokemon history.
