Mew, (over Mewtwo, cuteness and power for the win, its just a shame Mew can't stand up to Mewtwo in the games.)

Charizard. (Flying and fire? He's a bloody dragon. OK!)

Raichu. (I love this pokemon, I prefer him over Pikachu, which may seem wierd to some people.)

I can't help it. I'm a sucker for the cute ones, and all of these guys learn some pretty powerful techniques. But Jigglypuff has had my heart ever since the first episode of the Pokemon anime that it appeared in. Big shiny eyes going all angry as people fell asleep... I adored it.

The second generation was wonderful. Besides that, they had SHINY Pokemon! I actually once found a shiny Larvitar in silver. That was spectacular.
