I've said it before and it's already been mentioned quite a few times in this topic already, but Baldur's Gate 2: Shadows of Amn really is that good. If you're a fan of rpg or even just games in general and haven't played the BG series you owe it to yourself to look them up. The Baldur's Gate series represents probably the most epic in scale and satisfying rpg experience in the gaming industry.

Suikoden 2 is probably my fave.

Although both Nier and Xenoblade are close to it too.

I like Persona 4 the most of all the games. Kanji is my favorite character of all the characters of all the games

FFVII although in the last few months I have played some great RPGS especially Xenoblade Chronicles which is the only game to almost top VII for me.

The other two worth mentioning would be The Last Story and Persona 4 most of them are quite recent games as well surprisingly but these four are probably my top RPGS.

Purely western and computer RPGS though my favourite 2 are:-
Baldurs Gate 2 and Oblivion (havent played Skyrim yet) also I want to try Planescape and vampire the masquerade bloodlines.

KoTOR 2. I spent 4 years playing it and I never got bored. I also like the nifty Influence system.
