So I grew when toonami was still around on cartoon network and one of my favorite TV shows was Teen Titans(2003-2006). I watched for nostalgia sake and loved almost all the episodes. Yeah some the episodes and characters that liked back then change to my more matured taste, but for the most part it was as fun as I remembered. So what your favorite show you grew up with that is still good(or awesome like the Teen Titans)? You no the rules, don't get too off topic and be nice ( no flame wars). Have at it guys.

eeerrrrrrrr

I can't think of anything... and the fact no one has commented in a whole 30 mins of this being posted is worringly telling that there won't be a lot.

...Xiaolin Showdown.

Thats... about it...

Well My Little Pony doesn't suck now... and I'm an adult now but does that count as I didn't watch it as a kid (as this version didn't exist back then).

-------------------

If this comment alone hijacks the thread (which I hope it doesn't) what do people think about the most recent episode and what "happens"... with Fluttershy :D

EDIT:
I tell a lie. Pokemon :)

Seinfeld . I used to ALWAYS watch that growing up . I only understood half the jokes due to sexual innuendo ( sure not as bad as roccos modern life , but they were there) . I started rewatching them since it's on comedy central now and i still find it halarious .

Back then i didn't know what it meant to be master of your domain, but now i sure as hell do .( This was an episode about masterbation)

The problem with me and kids shows was that all the ones I like NOW I didn't watch as a kid when everyone else did so I think I missed out on some good ol' character-building.

I do find that I'm still rather fond of Dexter's Lab, though. I was a big Cartoon Network nut as a kid, so almost any of those shows (excluding the Flintstones) are still endearing to me.

The show I WISHED I watched as a kid so I can say "Yep, I grew up on that" is Ren and Stimpy. Jeez, that show's magical to me.

Rocko's Modern Life, that show is still amazing and hilarious.

I now even get the more 'adult' humor that I didn't as a kid! :D

Umm. Star Trek: TNG and Star Trek DS9. Yeah I was kind of a weird kid. Oh yeah and Droopy, best anthropomorphic dog ever.

Trapdoor.

To an extent "Round the Twist", I guess.

Astroboy repeats.

Maybe if I'm pushing kid a bit, Birds of Prey. Mutant X as well, but Birds of Prey doesn't utterly suck even when you aren't watching it as a teenager at 3 in the morning.

Damn where do I begin?! Dragon Ball Z, Batman TAS, Xmen TAS, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Kenan & Kel. I'm sure there's more that I'm forgetting.

Yeah I have a soft spot for the Teen Titans aswell but I'm going with Transformers (G1) and Batman: TAS.
I own Batman: TAS boxset 1 and 2 and own the Transformers: The movie on DVD. Sure the Transformers is somewhat outdated but I can overlook it due to nostalgia (no I'm not a G1 fanboy as I can see the reason why people are put off from it and I enjoy watching the newer Transformers show like Animated and PRime).

Power Rangers In Space.

Not Mighty Morphin, In Space.

No matter what any one says, In Space was one of the; if not the; most well written season of Power Rangers. You have an actual relationship built up from the Andros and Ashley that sadly never had them kiss, but they went out on dates and showed true affection for each other. You had the DEATH OF ZORDON. You have the abduction of Andros' little sister when they were like 6. You have the Psycho Rangers [Fucking amazing sub plot there.] I rewatched this whole season recently and wow. There have been darker moments in Power Rangers, especially in later seasons, but this is hard to top by over all story.

Oh, and if you want examples...Lost Galaxy, Magnum Defender's son is killed on screen. In Time Force, for the longest time you are left to believe the Red Ranger is killed. In Dino Thunder, the Villain has a Dr. Jeckle and Mr. Hyde issue, similar to his son. Lost Galaxy, a ranger actually DOES die, giant explosion, ghost and all. And lastly, in RPM, a child and an old man die.

But yeah, that's about it. Anything between Dino Thunder and RPM sucks in my honest opinion, but maybe I've just seen really terrible episodes of those seasons.

Edit: Also this opening is awesome.
